Cowboys' Alec Lindstrom: Retained by Dallas
The Cowboys signed Lindstrom (undisclosed) to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Lindstrom never appeared while on the Cowboys' practice squad this season, though he landed on the practice squad injured list with an undisclosed issue Nov. 15. The 24-year-old center then finished the campaign on this list, and he'll now look to carve out a backup role on the 53-man roster heading into the 2023 season.

Alec Lindstrom: Lands on injured list
The Cowboys placed Lindstrom (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Lindstrom joined Dallas' practice squad after being waived as part of the team's final roster cuts in late August. While the nature of his injury is still unknown, the undrafted rookie will not be eligible for any game-day elevations until at least Week 15.

Alec Lindstrom: Waived by Dallas
The Cowboys waived Lindstrom on Tuesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Lindstrom, an undrafted rookie out of Boston College, was a standout during training camp, but he finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline. Per Gehlken, he's a strong fit to return to Dallas via a practice squad deal if he clears waivers.

Cowboys' Alec Lindstrom: Sustains mild ankle sprain
Lindstrom sustained a mild ankle sprain during Saturday's preseason game against the Broncos, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Lindstrom played 48 percent of the Cowboys' offensive snaps Saturday, but he sustained an ankle injury with just under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The team doesn't sound too concerned about the issue, and the rookie is considered day-to-day for now.
