Broncos' Baron Browning: Logs DNP on Wednesday
Browning (foot) didn't practice Wednesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Browning sustained a foot injury during the first half of Sunday's loss to the Steelers, and following Wednesday's DNP, it appears he could be in jeopardy of missing some time. If the Ohio State product is unable to upgrade to limited work either Thursday or Friday, Nik Bonitto will likely start in Browning's place in Week 3.

Broncos' Baron Browning: Won't return Sunday
Browning (foot) has been declared out for the remainder of Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Browning was initially deemed questionable after suffering the foot injury but has since been ruled out. Nik Bonitto started the second half in his stead. Clarity about Browning's injury and his status moving forward should come after the contest and/or during the practice week.

Broncos' Baron Browning: Records 4.5 sacks in 2023
Browning recorded 25 tackles (19 solo), including 4.5 sacks, two passes defensed and two forced fumble over 10 contests during the 2023 campaign.
Browning was a key contributor for the Broncos' defense when he was on the field in 2023. Despite missing several contests with a knee injury and a concussion, the 24-year-old linebacker made the most of his opportunities when healthy. Browning is under contract through the 2024 season. He'll play an important role as a playmaker in Denver's defense next season.

Browning missed Denver's Week 17 win over the Chargers with a concussion, but he took a step in the right direction to open the week Wednesday. Browning recorded three tackles, including one sack in Sunday's 21-20 win over the Vikings.
Browning added one QB hit and a forced fumble for a solid performance Sunday. In the four games in which the veteran linebacker has appeared in 2023, he has now recorded 11 total tackles, three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one pass defended. With the Broncos defense coming into its own in recent weeks, Browning should continue to have the chance to establish himself as a playmaker. The 24-year-old will get his next opportunity to build upon this momentum when the Broncos host the Browns in Week 12.

Broncos' Baron Browning: Gets first sacks of season Sunday
Browning had four solo tackles including two sacks and a forced fumble in Sunday's 24-9 win over the Chiefs.
Browning was activated off the Broncos' injured reserve list ahead of their Week 7 bout against the Packers. He played 26 defensive snaps that game but upped it to 32 against the Chiefs on Sunday in a game when the Broncos defense combined for three sacks and five turnovers. Browning was responsible for one of those turnovers when he strip-sacked Patrick Mahomes with less than a minute to play in the second quarter. Browning will take advantage of the bye to get additional rest and prepare for Denver's Week 10 contest against the Bills on Nov. 13.
