Patriots' K'Lavon Chaisson: Career-high 7.5 sacks in 2025
Chaisson recorded 7.5 sacks among his 31 tackles (18 solo) while suiting up for 16 games during the 2025 regular season.
Chaisson set a new career high in sacks for the third consecutive season, jumping up from 5.0 sacks with the Raiders in 2024 to 7.5 sacks in his first season with New England. He had no more than 2.0 sacks in any of his first four NFL campaigns. Chaisson will remain a key part of the Patriots' pass rush in the playoffs, beginning with the wild-card round against the Chargers, before becoming a free agent in the offseason.

Chaisson has been dealing with an ankle injury over the past couple of weeks but should continue to play through it during Monday's matchup versus the Giants. The 2020 first-round pick has compiled 18 tackles (10 solo), including 6.5 sacks, across 11 games and will look to add to his totals against New York.

Chaisson was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a lingering ankle injury. However, his return to full participation Thursday suggests he's not in danger of missing Sunday's tilt versus Cincinnati. Chaisson will be looking to build upon his 6.5 sacks -- which are already a career high -- versus the Bengals.

Chaisson was able to overcome an ankle injury to play in the Patriots' Week 11 win over the Jets, when he tallied one tackle and one pass defense. The injury appears to be lingering, as he had his practice reps limited Wednesday, but he'll have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals. Chaisson is up to 17 tackles (10 solo), including 6.5 sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery over 10 regular-season games.
