Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Staying in Washington
Igbinoghene and the Commanders agreed to a one-year contract Thursday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Igbinoghene played in just 14 regular-season games between 2022 and 2023, but he appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Commanders in 2024 (including 10 starts) and finished with 55 tackles (33 solo) and seven pass defenses. Igbinoghene should play a prominent role in the Commanders' secondary in 2025 alongside Marshon Lattimore, Mike Sainristil and Jonathan Jones.

Igbinoghene recorded the best season of his career with Washington in 2024, starting 10 of his 17 appearances. During the Commanders' three postseason games, Igbinoghene made 10 tackles (seven solo). After playing out the 2024 campaign on a one-year, $1.29 million contract, Igbinoghene will now become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Ready for Sunday
Igbinoghene (thumb) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Igbinoghene practiced in full Friday after beginning the Commanders' week of practice with back-to-back limited sessions, suggesting that he's moved past his thumb injury in time for Sunday's divisional matchup. Now that the 2020 first-round pick has returned to full health, he's expected to serve as one of Washington's top rotational cornerbacks in Week 12.

Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Dealing with thumb issue
Igbinoghene (thumb) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
The Auburn product played 56 defensive snaps and recorded six total tackles in the Commanders' Week 11 loss to the Eagles. However, it now appears he picked up a thumb injury in the process. Igbinoghene's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely offer the best indication of whether he can play through the issue in the Week 12 divisional matchup against the Cowboys.

Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Signs with Washington
Igbinoghene signed a contract with the Commanders on Sunday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Iginoghene had an underwhelming first four years of his career. After tallying 29 tackles and five passes defended over 32 regular-season games with Miami, the 2020 first-round pick was traded to Dallas ahead of the 2023 regular season. He never managed to carve out a significant role with the Cowboys, primarily playing on special teams across five appearances with the team. Igbinogene will now follow former Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to Washington.
