Johnson (concussion) was not listed on the Panthers' injury report Wednesday.
The second-year pro was inactive for the Panthers' Week 12 loss to the Chiefs after sustaining a concussion prior to the team's Week 11 bye, but his omission from Wednesday's injury report suggests he's cleared the NFL's five-step protocol. With Johnson now back to full health, he's expected to serve as Carolina's top backup outside linebacker.

Johnson (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Johnson was diagnosed with a concussion during the Panthers' Week 10 win over the Giants. He was able to practice all week -- including full sessions Wednesday and Friday -- but it appears the 2023 third-round pick was unable to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in time for Sunday's game. Johnson's next opportunity to play will be Week 13 against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Dec. 1. Cam Gill, Charles Harris and Kenny Dyson will serve as the Panthers' rotational outside linebackers Sunday behind starters D.J. Wonnum and Jadeveon Clowney.

Johnson (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson was concussed in the Panthers' Week 10 win over the Giants and had the Week 11 bye to recover. He was able to sandwich full practices Wednesday and Friday around a limited session Thursday. Johnson has 29 tackles (10 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and one pass breakup on limited snaps as a sub-package linebacker this season.
