Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Done for Week 16 due to concussion
Overshown (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, AllDLLS.com reports.
Overshown was hurt during the first quarter and headed to the blue medical tent to get evaluated for a concussion. He eventually went to the locker room before being ruled out. Marist Liufau may get more snaps on defense with Overshown out of action. The latter will need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in order to play on Christmas Day against the Commanders.

Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Snap count removed
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters Friday that Overshown won't be on a snap count during Sunday's matchup against the Vikings, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
For the first time since returning from a knee injury in the Week 11 win over the Raiders, Overshown won't be on a pitch count. Through four appearances this season, the Texas product has played 161 defensive snaps and recorded 19 total tackles. Following Schottenheimer's comments, Overshown is expected to operate as the Cowboys' top linebacker Sunday.

Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Records six tackles Thursday
Overshown finished with six tackles (two solo) in Thursday's 31-28 win over the Chiefs.

Overshown recorded 5.0 sacks, four passes defensed, including an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 13 games last year, and while he's still looking for his first big play this season, he is at least contributing again.

Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Practices in full

Overshown was activated from the reserve/PUP list on Nov. 11 and appears ready to make his 2025 season debut. The weak-side linebacker is expected to continue to log full practices in preparation for Monday's game against the Raiders and will likely mix in alongside Kenneth Murray and the newly acquired Logan Wilson.

Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Activated from PUP
The Cowboys activated Overshown (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Trending toward Week 11 return
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said Tuesday that Overshown (knee) is "trending" toward being activated from injured reserve ahead of the Cowboys' Week 11 clash against the Raiders on Monday, Nov. 17, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Overshown is in the final stages of his rehab from a torn ACL, MCL and PCL that he suffered in December. His 21-day practice window opened Oct. 22, and while he wasn't ready to return for Weeks 8 and 9, the expectation is that he'll be available to make his 2025 debut in Week 11. Overshown's return would bolster a Cowboys linebacker corps that will be without Jack Sanborn (groin) for at least four games after the latter was placed on injured reserve Monday.
