Commanders' Braeden Daniels: Clear of shoulder injury
Daniels logged 27 snaps in Washington's preseason opener versus the Jets.
Per Bryan Manning of Commanders Wire, Daniels worked at right tackle in the exhibition contest despite Washington's brass likely viewing him as a guard. The 2023 third-round draft pick missed all of last season due to a torn rotator cuff and isn't a lock to make the Commanders' 53-man roster, though he has a chance to build his case in the preseason, especially if he can thrive at the tackle position, which is currently an area of need.

Commanders' Braeden Daniels: Hits IR with torn rotator cuff
The Commanders placed Daniels on IR on Monday after he suffered a torn rotator cuff in the team's final preseason game, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Washington selected Daniels in the fourth round of this year's draft, and he was expected to begin the campaign as depth along the offensive line. Instead, the 23-year-old won't be able to make his NFL debut until next season.
