Calvin Jackson: Re-joins Miami's practice squad
The Dolphins signed Jackson to the team's practice squad Friday, Mike Masala of USA Today reports.
Jackson previously spent about one month on Miami's practice squad before he was cut loose Nov. 28. The 25-year-old has yet to make his NFL debut, though he could be a candidate to be elevated to the active roster with wideout River Cracraft (calf) considered questionable to play Sunday against the Patriots. The Dolphins also let go DaeSean Hamilton (calf) from the practice squad to make room for Jackson on Friday, per Masala.

Calvin Jackson: Loses roster spot
Jackson was cut from the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
Jackson signed with the Miami's practice squad Oct. 25, which was the same day that fellow wide receiver Freddie Swain was placed on the Dolphins' practice squad injured list. With Swain now healthy and reinstated to the team's practice squad, Jackson has been let go. He'll now look for a new opportunity elsewhere.

Jets' Calvin Jackson: Two game-winning TDs in preseason
Jackson caught two of three targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 preseason win over the Giants. He also had a 19-yard punt return.
Jackson was instrumental on New York's game-winning drive in the final minute, as he drew a 26-yard pass interference penalty to get the ball down to the Giants' 10-yard line, then hauled in the game-winning five-yard touchdown four plays later. The undrafted free agent out of Washington State showed a flair for the dramatic in preseason, scoring two last-minute game-winning touchdowns in three games. More importantly, Jackson has also impressed the coaching staff day in and day out in training camp and has a realistic chance of snagging a roster spot.

Jets' Calvin Jackson: Scores game-winning TD late
Jackson caught two of three targets for eight yards and a touchdown in Friday's 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles.
Jackson got open in the back of the end zone for the game-winning five-yard touchdown with 16 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The undrafted free agent out of Washington State is likely competing for a practice squad spot at best, but finding the end zone in his NFL debut should help Jackson's case.
