Lewis Cine: Shifts to Buffalo
Cine has signed with Buffalo's practice squad, Dorian Alerte of the Bills' official site reports.
Cine, who has seen action in 10 regular-season games in his young career, was originally thought to be heading to the Jets' practice squad, but it looks like he's instead chosen another AFC East team. Cine is a 2022 first-rounder, so this is probably the type of high-upside guy a team would want on the practice squad, considering the Bills are already working through injuries in the secondary.

Lewis Cine: Will join Jets' practice squad
Cine is signing with the Jets' practice squad, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Cine entered the league in 2022 as a first-round pick of the Vikings with plenty of promise, but his young NFL career has been marred by injuries since, and he's appeared in only 10 regular-season games over the last two seasons combined. It wouldn't be surprising to see him added to the active roster if he has a stretch of good health.

Vikings' Lewis Cine: Dealing with leg injury
Head coach Kevin O'Connell said Tuesday that Cine is dealing with a lower leg injury and is considered "day-to-day," Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Cine played in just seven regular-season games for the Vikings last season, partially due to a hamstring injury but he was also a healthy scratch for two games. He played eight snaps on defense and 83 snaps on special teams last year and posted one tackle. Cine is battling for a depth spot in the Vikings' secondary.
