Bills' Dorian Williams: Logs full practice Friday
Williams (knee) practiced in full Friday.
The third-year pro from Tulane was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a knee injury, but Friday's full session suggests he's moved past the issue. Williams has appeared in four games for Buffalo this season, recording 18 total tackles and one pass defended. Now back at full health, he's expected to start alongside Terrel Bernard in the Bills' linebacker corps in Monday night's matchup against the Falcons.

Bills' Dorian Williams: Limited to begin Week 6 prep
Williams (knee) will be a limited participant in practice Thursday, per head coach Sean McDermott, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Williams didn't practice at all prior to sitting out Buffalo's Week 5 loss to New England, so his limited participation in the team's first practice of Week 6 preparation is a step in the right direction. If healthy enough to suit up Monday against the Falcons, Williams would presumably return to his starting role at linebacker.

Bills' Dorian Williams: Ruled out for Week 5
Williams (knee) will not play in Sunday night's game against the Patriots, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
While the Bills are one of just two NFL teams off to a 4-0 start, the run defense has been poor with an AFC-worst mark of 164.3 rushing yards allowed per game. Fellow linebacker Matt Milano's (pectoral) status now takes on added import for Sunday's divisional matchup.

Bills' Dorian Williams: Absent from practice Wednesday
Williams (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Williams logged a season-high 84 percent of the defensive snaps in last Sunday's win over the Saints, racking up six tackles (three solo) in the process. It's unclear when Williams suffered the injury, as this is his first time on the injury report this season.

Bills' Dorian Williams: Returns to practice
Williams (calf) returned to training camp on Wednesday, Alex Brasky of Bills Digest reports.
Williams injured his calf during the first week of training camp and has been held off the field for the past two weeks. His return to camp, still a month away from the regular season, is a good sign as the 24-year-old is a very important depth piece in Buffalo's defense. He totaled 117 tackles last season, starting 11 games with Matt Milano sidelined due to a biceps injury.

Bills' Dorian Williams: Working through calf injury
Williams (calf) did not participate in Friday's practice, Alex Brasky of SB Nation reports.
Williams injured his calf during a drill Thursday and was held out of Friday's session. It's unclear how severe the injury is, but given it's training camp, the Bills will likely play it conservatively with Williams, who hasn't missed a game since entering the league in 2023. He finished the 2024 regular season with 117 tackles (68 solo), one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries across 17 games.

Bills' Dorian Williams: Logs 117 tackles in sophomore year
Williams played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 117 tackles (68 solo), one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. He added seven tackles (six solo) across the Bills' three playoff games.
The 2023 third-round pick started in the first 11 games of the regular season due to the absence of Matt Milano, who began the campaign on injured reserve while recovering from a right leg fracture that he suffered in October 2023. Williams took advantage of the opportunity, recording 97 tackles (59 solo) over that span while logging double-digit tackles in six games. He moved back to a rotational role following Buffalo's Week 12 bye after Milano was activated off IR, but Williams' play in 2024 gives him a strong case of being an every-down linebacker for the 2025 season. Williams will have a chance to earn that role when training camp starts in July.
