Joseph Ngata: Waived with injury settlement
Ngata (ankle) was waived from the Eagles' injured reserve Thursday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ngata was set to miss the entire 2024 season after reverting to the Eagles' IR on Aug. 28. The injury settlement allows the 23-year-old wide receiver to sign with another team once he is fully recovered from his ankle injury.

Eagles' Joseph Ngata: Reverts to IR
Ngata (ankle) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday, according to the NFL's official transaction log.
The wide receiver will have to reach an injury settlement with the Eagles to play in 2024. Ngata caught five passes for 88 yards during the preseason. He played his last college season in 2022 and has not yet seen NFL regular-season action.

Ngata is dealing with an ankle injury. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, he'll revert to Philadelphia's injured reserve. The wide receiver reeled in five receptions for 88 yards during the preseason.

Ngata spent the 2023 campaign on the Eagles' practice squad and he'll now stick around for the offseason. The wide receiver has yet to make his professional debut after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft in April.
