  • Corey Crooms: Secures injury settlement

    The Cowboys waived Crooms (undisclosed) from IR on Thursday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Crooms will now be eligible to sign with another club once healthy, rather than being forced to spent the entire 2024 season on IR with Dallas. The undrafted rookie is coming off a solid senior season at Minnesota in which he caught 28 passes for 376 yards across 13 appearances.

    Crooms (undisclosed) reverted to the Cowboys' injured reserve Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Crooms was waived by the Cowboys on Friday with an undisclosed injury, and the 23-year-old wideout will now be forced to miss the entire 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Dallas. Crooms signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in May following his senior season in Minnesota, where he caught 28 passes for 376 yards in 13 regular-season games.
