Jacardia Wright: Placed on practice squad IR
The Seahawks placed Wright (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Wright may have picked up the injury during the Seahawks' 44-13 win over the Saints on Sunday, when he played eight snaps and logged five carries for 20 yards. The move makes room on the practice squad for Khalil Herbert, who could be elevated to the active roster for Thursday's game against the Cardinals if Zach Charbonnet (foot) is not cleared to play.

Jacardia Wright: Reverts to Seattle's practice squad
Wright reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Wright was elevated to the Seahawks' active roster for the first time Sunday, when he played eight snaps (five on offense, three on special teams) in a 44-13 win over the Saints. He finished the game with five carries for 20 yards, all of which came in garbage time during Seattle's blowout victory. Zach Charbonnet was unable to play due to a foot injury, and Wright would be a candidate to be elevated for the Seahawks' Week 4 clash against the Cardinals on Thursday if the former is not cleared to play.

The Seahawks elevated Wright from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
The Seahawks are likely to be without Zach Charbonnet (foot), who is officially listed as doubtful, for Sunday's game against New Orleans. That will leave George Holani as the second back on the depth chart, while Wright could be active and contribute primarily on special teams.

Jacardia Wright: Stays on practice squad
Wright signed with the Seahawks' practice squad Wednesday.
At times Wright looked like the best running back during the preseason with 21 carries for 147 yards (7.0 YPC) and a touchdown, including a 61-yard run. However, George Holani also excelled against tougher competition and secured the No. 3 role. Wright will join fellow rookie running backs Damien Martinez and Anthony Tyus on the practice squad.

Seahawks' Jacardia Wright: Scores in preseason tie
Wright rushed seven times for 34 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie versus the Raiders.
Wright started the second half and immediately broke off an 11-yard carry. He put forth another 10-yard carry in the fourth quarter before punching in a touchdown from the one-yard line. Meanwhile, George Holani was the clear top running back in Thursday's game, finishing with 81 yards on eight touches. Damien Martinez -- who played only in the first half -- rushed six times for 10 yards and caught two passes for 15 yards. Holani is the leader for the No. 3 job behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, so Wright likely needs to compete with Martinez for the No. 4 role.
