Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Leads team in tackles in loss
Taylor-Demerson recorded nine tackles (six solo), including a tackle for a loss, in Sunday's 16-6 loss to the Seahawks.
The safety also played on 97 percent of the defensive snaps in his second straight start in place of the injured Jalen Thompson (ankle). Thompson did not practice at all in the week leading up to Sunday's game, so his status will again be worth monitoring this week. If he's unable to return for Sunday's matchup with the Vikings, Taylor-Demerson should again stand to benefit.

Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Slated to start Week 12
Taylor-Demerson (back) was listed as a full practice participant on Friday's injury report and carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
Taylor-Demerson finished the week strong with a full practice Friday after logging consecutive limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. He made his first career NFL start in Week 10 against the Jets due to Jalen Thompson being sidelined with an ankle injury. With Thompson ruled out for Sunday's contest due to the same issue, Taylor-Demerson is slated to make his second career start at strong safety alongside free safety Budda Baker. In Week 10, Taylor-Demerson played every defensive snap and tallied six tackles (five solo) and two pass defenses.

Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Limited due to back injury
Taylor-Demerson (back) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Taylor-Demerson made his first NFL start in Week 10 against the Jets, during which he played 100 percent of the Cardinals' defensive snaps and finished with six tackles (five solo) and two passes defended. Even with the Cardinals coming off a Week 11 bye, Taylor-Demerson appears to be nursing a back issue, which limited his practice participation Wednesday. The rookie fourth-rounder will have two chances this week to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's NFC West clash against Seattle.

Cardinals' Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Picked up by Arizona in Round 4
The Cardinals selected Taylor-Demerson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 104th overall.
This looks like another nice pick for the Cardinals, who appear to be having a productive draft. Taylor-Demerson (5-foot-10, 197 pounds) has a prospect profile that would easily warrant a selection sooner than the fourth round, as the former Texas Tech defensive back has both the tools and the skill set to plausibly start at either safety or cornerback. The most conventional application for Taylor-Demerson would probably be at safety given that's where he played in college, but in terms of athleticism Taylor-Demerson looks more like a cornerback (4.41-second 40-yard dash, 38-inch vertical). The Cardinals secondary might have been the worst in the NFL in 2023, but it's suddenly looking like a potential strength after a productive offseason.
