Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Lands on IR
The Cardinals placed Baccellia (neck) on injured reserve Tuesday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports.
Arizona signed practice-squad member Jalen Brooks to replace Baccellia on the 53-man roster and in the receiver room. Baccellia exited this past Sunday's 40-20 loss to the Texans in the second quarter due to a neck injury suffered during a collision on a kickoff return. Though he was able to fly back to Arizona after a brief hospital stay in Houston, Baccellia's injury was deemed severe enough to keep him out for the Cardinals' final three games. The 28-year-old wideout will finish the 2025 season with two catches for eight yards on four targets and 236 yards on nine kickoff returns over his five appearances.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Carted off field
Baccellia (neck) was stretchered off the field during Sunday's game against the Texans and will not return, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Baccellia suffered a scary neck injury late in the second quarter, but the good news is that the 28-year-old wideout had full movement in his extremities. He's been taken to a local hospital to undergo further tests, and without Baccellia the rest of the day, Emari Demercado will likely serve as the Cardinals' primary returner on kickoffs.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Little output despite starting
Baccellia recorded one catch on three targets for three yards during Sunday's 45-17 defeat to the Rams.
The Cardinals were without WRs Marvin Harrison (heel), Greg Dortch (chest) and Xavier Weaver (hamstring) in Week 14, affording Baccellia an opportunity for his first career start. The third-year player took a back seat to Michael Wilson in receiving output but matched him with a 79 percent snap share, easily outpacing practice-squad elevations Jalen Brooks (40 percent) and Trent Sherfield (nine percent). Even if Baccellia retains that workload this coming Sunday, an unyielding Texans defense isn't likely to yield much production to a wideout with nine receptions over 17 NFL appearances in his career.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Exits game with arm injury
Baccellia (arm) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
Baccellia sustained the injury in the third quarter, and he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. He's contributed on special teams and on offense, so his absence means more snaps at wide receiver are available for Xavier Weaver and Greg Dortch.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Signed to Arizona's active roster
The Cardinals signed Baccellia from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
Baccellia opted to stay in Arizona as a member of the team's practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August. He hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since 2023, but his addition to the active roster comes after the Cardinals placed fellow wide receivers Zay Jones (Achilles) and Simi Fehoko (wrist) on injured reserve. With Marvin Harrison (appendix) ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers and Xavier Weaver (ankle) listed as questionable, Baccellia could play a meaningful role on offense in his 2025 regular-season debut.

Andre Baccellia: Staying in Arizona
The Cardinals signed Baccellia to the practice squad Thursday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports.
Baccellia has spent most of the past four years on the Cardinals' practice squad, though he has played in 13 regular-season games between 2022 (eight) and 2023 (five). He'll once again serve as organizational depth to start the year and will aim to see regular-season action for the first time since Week 13 of the 2023 season.

Baccellia has been in Arizona's organization since 2021, and the plan is to bring him back on the practice squad if he clears waivers, according to Wilson. Baccellia has seven career catches for 45 yards across 13 regular-season appearances.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Inks deal with Arizona
The Cardinals signed Baccellia to a reserve/future contract Monday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The 28-year-old spent his 2024 campaign with the Cardinals' practice squad after failing to make the team's active roster in late August. Baccellia most recently appeared in a regular-season game with the Cardinals in 2023, tallying 22 kick-return yards while playing 64 total snaps (46 offensive and 18 on special teams). He's expected to compete for a depth role in Arizona's wide-receiver corps throughout the offseason.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Gets reserve/future deal from Cards
Arizona signed Baccellia to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

He also played 18 snaps on special teams and returned a kickoff for 22 yards. The wideout was more involved in 2022, corralling seven of 10 targets for 45 yards over eight contests. Baccellia will have a chance to compete for a roster spot during training camp this summer.

Andre Baccellia: Waived by Arizona
The Cardinals waived Baccellia on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Baccellia saw a season-high 28 offensive snaps against Pittsburgh in Week 13, but he didn't log any stats or get any targets. Arizona is on bye this week and has elected to waive the 26-year-old wideout, who caught seven passes on 10 targets for 45 yards over eight games last season. The Cardinals also signed receiver Jeff Smith to their practice squad Monday.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Sees season-high snap total
Baccellia went without a target while playing 31 of the Cardinals' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Steelers.
Though his 46 percent snap share was by far a season-high rate for the 26-year-old receiver, he still has yet to draw a single look in the passing game through his five appearances with Arizona. Baccellia's playing time climbed Sunday while Michael Wilson (shoulder) and Zach Pascal (personal) were out, but if either or both wideouts return to action following Arizona's Week 14 bye, Baccellia will likely be in store for a significant reduction in snaps.

Andre Baccellia: Signs with active roster
The Cardinals signed Baccellia to their active roster Saturday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Baccellia's signing to the active roster could very well be in response to Michael Wilson (shoulder) popping up on the Cardinals' injury report Friday. Baccellia, a second-year wideout, has appeared in two games for Arizona this year, playing a total of 11 snaps (five offensive and six on special teams) and returning one kickoff for 22 yards.
