Baccellia has bounced between Arizona's active roster and practice squad each of the last two seasons, appearing in a total of 13 regular-season games. In that time, he's caught seven passes on 10 targets for 45 yards. He'll now have the opportunity to stick with the franchise and work toward carving out a larger role with the team.

Baccellia spent most of the previous three seasons going up and down from the Cardinals' practice squad and active roster. He has seven career catches for 45 yards across 13 games. Baccellia caught seven passes for 85 scoreless yards during the preseason.

Arizona signed Baccellia to a reserve/future contract Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Baccellia got into five games with the Cardinals this season, logging 46 offensive snaps without seeing a target or getting a touch. He also played 18 snaps on special teams and returned a kickoff for 22 yards. The wideout was more involved in 2022, corralling seven of 10 targets for 45 yards over eight contests. Baccellia will have a chance to compete for a roster spot during training camp this summer.

Baccellia saw a season-high 28 offensive snaps against Pittsburgh in Week 13, but he didn't log any stats or get any targets. Arizona is on bye this week and has elected to waive the 26-year-old wideout, who caught seven passes on 10 targets for 45 yards over eight games last season. The Cardinals also signed receiver Jeff Smith to their practice squad Monday.

Cardinals' Andre Baccellia: Sees season-high snap total
Baccellia went without a target while playing 31 of the Cardinals' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Steelers.
Though his 46 percent snap share was by far a season-high rate for the 26-year-old receiver, he still has yet to draw a single look in the passing game through his five appearances with Arizona. Baccellia's playing time climbed Sunday while Michael Wilson (shoulder) and Zach Pascal (personal) were out, but if either or both wideouts return to action following Arizona's Week 14 bye, Baccellia will likely be in store for a significant reduction in snaps.

The Cardinals signed Baccellia to their active roster Saturday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Baccellia's signing to the active roster could very well be in response to Michael Wilson (shoulder) popping up on the Cardinals' injury report Friday. Baccellia, a second-year wideout, has appeared in two games for Arizona this year, playing a total of 11 snaps (five offensive and six on special teams) and returning one kickoff for 22 yards.
