Durrell Johnson: Tries out with Indianapolis
Johnson (undisclosed) had a tryout with the Colts on Monday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
Johnson has seemingly recovered from the undisclosed injury that landed him on Dallas' injured reserve back in August prior to being waived with a settlement in October. The 2023 undrafted free agent will look to catch on with Indianapolis, where he could add value as a reserve defender.

Durrell Johnson: Waived from IR
The Cowboys waived Johnson (undisclosed) from injured reserve Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Johnson was waived with an unspecified injury designation in late August, and he reverted to the Cowboys' injured reserve shortly thereafter. He was set to miss the entire 2024 regular season as a result, but he will now be able to sign with a team in need of depth at defensive end once he's healthy.

The Cowboys waived Johnson (undisclosed) with an injury designation Monday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
The 26-year-old defensive lineman out of Liberty recorded one total tackle this preseason before being waived/injured Monday. If Johnson clears waivers, he'll revert to the Cowboys' injured reserve list and miss all of 2024 unless the two sides reach an injury settlement at some point this season.
