Patriots' Kyle Williams: Limited production in rookie season
Williams caught 10 of 21 targets for 209 yards and three touchdowns while also registering 290 kickoff-return yards over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season.
Williams spent the majority of his rookie campaign as the team's No. 5 option at wide receiver behind Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins and DeMario Douglas. Williams was able to notch only two multi-catch performances while going without a reception in nine games. The wide receiver was able to find the end zone in three separate contests, most notably breaking loose for a 72-yard score in Week 10 against the Buccaneers. The 2025 third-rounder will look to take a step up in his sophomore campaign with New England next year.

Patriots' Kyle Williams: Held without a catch Sunday
Williams was on the field for 22 of 65 snaps on offense in Sunday's 28-16 divisional-round win over the Texans, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports, but he failed to catch any of his three targets.
Williams added one kickoff return for 22 yards. Looking ahead, the 2025 third-rounder remains a fantasy dart throw in Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Broncos due to his limited volume in the Patriots' passing game.

Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, the 2025 third-rounder was tied for the third-highest workload with DeMario Douglas (21 of 64 snaps) in a New England WR corps led by Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte. Williams caught three of five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 42-10 win over the Jets.
Williams saw a career-high five targets as the Patriots played without Kayshon Boutte (concussion) and Mack Hollins (abdomen, IR), but the additional looks didn't result in substantial production from the rookie third-round pick, even as Drake Maye threw five touchdown passes against a weak Jets defense. Williams set up the Patriots' second touchdown of the game by drawing an 18-yard pass interference penalty in the end zone, which was followed up by a one-yard Rhamondre Stevenson touchdown run on the next play. New England's starters are expected to play in Week 18 against the Dolphins with the top seed in the AFC still in play, so Williams' role could depend on Boutte's status.

Patriots' Kyle Williams: Could see expanded role Sunday
With Kayshon Boutte (concussion) Mack Hollins (abdomen) ruled out for Week 17, per Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site, Williams has an opportunity to see added snaps and targets Sunday against the Jets.
In the absence of Boutte and Hollins, and with DeMario Douglas questionable with a hamstring injury, Stefon Diggs is in line to lead the Patriots' WR corps versus New York, with Williams on track to see an expanded role and Efton Chism also a candidate to mix in. Williams was on the field for 28 of 74 snaps on offense in Sunday's 28-24 win over the Ravens, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, and caught two of his three targets for 46 yards and a TD.
During a game in which QB Drake Maye completed 31 passes for 380 yards, marking the first 300-yard passing game of his NFL career, Williams made his mark while recording his third TD this season. Reiss notes that all three of the 2025 third-rounder's scores have been 30-plus yarders, which makes Williams the first Patriot to total that amount since Chris Hogan did so in 2016. Overall, Williams has logged a 7-189-3 receiving line on only 16 targets in 15 regular-season contests, a pace that makes him a speculative fantasy option when the Patriots face the Jets in Week 17.
