Bills' Frank Gore: Signs reserve/future deal with Bills
Buffalo signed Gore to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Gore has yet to log a regular-season NFL snap, but he got into both of Buffalo's postseason games this year, tallying four snaps on offense and 10 on special teams while recording one catch for six yards. The Southern Miss product will remain with the organization and will get an opportunity to compete for a roster spot ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Bills' Frank Gore: Elevated Friday
Buffalo elevated Gore from the practice squad Friday.
With Ty Johnson's (ankle) status in question for Saturday's divisional-round game against the Broncos, Gore will again have a chance to play behind James Cook and Ray Davis. Gore made his non-exhibition NFL debut last Sunday against the Jaguars, catching his lone target for six yards while playing four offensive snaps.

Frank Gore: Lands back on practice squad
The Bills reverted Gore to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Ty Johnson (ankle) missed Sunday's wild-card win over Jacksonville, giving Gore an opportunity to log his first non-preseason NFL action as a pro. Gore ended up playing four offensive snaps, catching his only target for six yards. If Johnson is unable to return to action for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against Denver, Gore could be elevated again, though he'd be well behind James Cook and Ray Davis in the RB pecking order.

Bills' Frank Gore: Elevated to active roster
The Bills elevated Gore to the active roster from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup versus the Jaguars.
Gore is set to be elevated for the first time this season, as Ty Johnson is questionable due to an ankle injury. Gore would serve as the team's No. 3 running back behind James Cook and Ray Davis if Johnson ends up being unable to play.

Frank Gore: Returns to Bills
Buffalo signed Gore to its practice squad Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.
Gore was waived by the Bills on cutdown day Tuesday, but he's remaining with the organization on the practice squad. The 23-year-old will look to earn a chance on the active roster at some point during the season for what would be his NFL regular-season debut.

Bills' Frank Gore: Staying in Buffalo
The Bills signed Gore to a reserve/future contract Monday.
The undrafted rookie from Southern Mississippi spent his 2024 campaign with the Bills' practice squad after failing to make the active roster in late August. Gore was elevated to the active roster for Buffalo's Week 6 win over the Jets but did not play a single snap. He's now expected to compete for a reserve role in the Bills' backfield this summer, aiming to make his regular-season NFL debut in 2025.

Frank Gore: Back with Bills' practice squad
Gore reverted to the Bills' practice squad Wednesday.
The rookie was elevated to Buffalo's active roster Monday to provide depth at running back with James Cook (toe) missing the Bills' 23-20 win over the Jets. Gore went unused in the Week 6 win, but he could be elevated again for a Week 7 matchup with the Titans if Cook is once again sidelined.

Bills' Frank Gore: Elevated from practice squad
The Bills have elevated Gore from their practice squad ahead of Monday night's game against the Jets.
Top back James Cook (toe) is listed as questionable for the contest, so Gore gives the Bills added backfield depth should Cook be limited or out Monday. Also in the team's Week 6 running back mix are Ty Johnson and Ray Davis.

Frank Gore: Gets spot on practice squad
The Bills re-signed Gore (knee) to their practice squad Wednesday, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.
Gore dealt with a knee injury late in the preseason, but the undrafted rookie out of Southern Miss no longer has an injury designation. The clear top man in Buffalo's backfield is James Cook, with Ray Davis and Ty Johnson locked in for the top reserve spots. Darrynton Evans (hamstring) will also handle a depth role once back from injured reserve, so Gore lacks a clear path to activation from the practice squad, barring injuries. Still, he showed enough during the preseason to warrant a chance to continue his development.

Frank Gore: Cut by Buffalo
The Bills waived Gore (knee) on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The son of longtime NFL running back Frank Gore, the Southern Miss product went undrafted in April before signing with the Bills. Gore was impressive during the preseason, rushing for 163 yards and one touchdown on 33 carries while adding four grabs for an additional 16 yards. It wasn't enough to claim a 53-man roster spot behind James Cook and fourth-round rookie Ray Davis, but there's a good chance Gore is either claimed or lands a job on a practice squad.
