Cardinals' Johnathan Joseph: Officially on IR
Joseph (stinger) was officially placed on the injured reserve list Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Joseph suffered a stinger during last week's game against the Rams and has found himself on the injured reserve. The veteran cornerback had been dispatched as the starter in recent weeks, though he's still a valuable depth player. Patrick Peterson, Dre Kirkpatrick and Byron Murphy will serve the starting cornerback roles as Joseph remains out.

Cardinals' Johnathan Joseph: Won't play against Giants
Joseph (stinger) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Giants, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Joseph hasn't practiced since suffering a stringer in last week's loss to the Rams. He'll sit out as a result, depleting Arizona's secondary depth behind starting cornerbacks Patrick Peterson, Dre Kirkpatrick and Byron Murphy. Joseph will aim to return next week when the Eagles come to town.

Cardinals' Johnathan Joseph: Inks deal with Arizona
The Cardinals signed Joseph on Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Joseph was cut by the Titans last week after starting six games for the team this year. The 36-year-old struggled in coverage, allowing a 103.7 passer rating and four touchdowns, but the Cardinals won't need to use him as a starter unless there's an injury ahead of him on the depth chart.

Johnathan Joseph: Cut by Tennessee
Joseph was released by the Titans on Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
The 36-year-old signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Titans in April, but they weren't happy with his performance through seven games and opted to move on. Joseph totaled 28 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble while playing significant snaps in the secondary.

Titans' Johnathan Joseph: Gets over illness
Joseph (illness) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals after being a full participant in Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Joseph didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but he evidently recovered from his illness and wasn't limited in Friday's session. As a result, the veteran cornerback should be out there against the team that drafted him in the first round back in 2006.
