Cardinals' Mike Nugent: Makes both kicks
Nugent made both of his field-goal attempts but did not try an extra point in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the 49ers.
Nugent converted from 27 and 43 yards on his field goals, keeping his perfect record in three games for the Cardinals. With Zane Gonzalez (back) sidelined, the veteran will continue to assume Arizona's kicking duties in Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Rams.

Nugent was promoted to the Cardinals' active roster from the practice squad Friday, Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The 38-year-old will handle kicking duties for Arizona again Saturday with Zane Gonzalez (back) on injured reserve. Mike Nugent: Heads back to practice squad
Nugent reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Nugent converted on four extra points and a field-goal attempt of 40 yards during Sunday's 33-26 win over the Eagles, but he's moving back to the practice squad just as he did this time last week. The 2005 second-round draft choice of the Jets is a perfect 5-for-5 on field goals and 6-for-6 on PATs over his first pair of 2020 appearances for the Cardinals. He's liable to be called back up for a Week 16 matchup against the 49ers with Zane Gonzalez (back) out for the season.

Nugent reverted to Arizona's practice squad Monday, per Mason Kern of SI.com.
The veteran kicker was fantastic in relief of Zane Gonzalez (back) in Week 14 against the Giants, going a perfect 4-for-4 on field-goal tries ranging from 30 to 37 yards. There remains the possibility for a performance-based promotion of Nugent in the coming weeks. Gonzalez has been shaky at best in 12 appearances for Arizona this season, converting just 72.7 percent of his 22 attempts.

Patriots' Mike Nugent: Two misses versus Browns
Nugent made two of four field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's 27-13 win over the Browns.
Nugent had one of his field-goal attempts blocked Sunday, and he also missed a 34-yard try. Through four games with New England, Nugent is now 5-for-8 on field-goal attempts and 15-for-16 on extra-point tries. It's worth noting that the Patriots opted to go for it on fourth down on multiple occasions rather than attempt long field goals, indicating the team may not fully trust Nugent outside of short-range attempts.
