Alex Pietrangelo took part in the morning skate for the St. Louis Blues on Monday and seems to be game-time decision for Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinal series against the Los Angeles Kings.
According to head coach Ken Hitchcock, via Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times, Pietrangelo "feels good so far" but the team is still undecided as to whether or not he will play. Hitchcock also added that if he doesn't take part in warmups, he will not play in the game.
Pietrangelo was injured on Friday night when he was hit from behind by Los Angeles forward Dwight King, as shown in the video posted above. King was issued a two-minute minor for boarding, while Pietrangelo did not return to the game.
In 81 games during the regular season Pietrangelo scored 12 goals to go with 39 assists and averaged over 25 minutes of ice-time per game.
