The celebration that followed Chris Kelly's overtime goal on Thursday night nearly turned out to be a costly one for the Boston Bruins.
As the Bruins and their fans were celebrating their Game 1 win against the Washington Capitals, forward David Krejci was hit by a falling piece of glass after it was accidentally dislodged as fans in the front row were pounding on it.
The video isn't the best quality, but it gives you a good idea as to the type of blow Krejci received when it came crashing down on him.
The folks at NESN report that Krejci appears to be OK, which is certainly good news for him. And the Bruins.
This also gives us another reason to dislike the glass pounders at hockey games beyond the obvious one (they're annoying).
