The Philadelphia Flyers announced on Friday evening that the team and defenseman Nicklas Grossmann have agreed to terms on a new multi-year contract extension. Terms of the deal have not yet been released.
The Flyers acquired Grossmann from the Dallas Stars prior to the trade deadline this season, sending a couple of draft picks back to Dallas.
In 74 games this season between the Stars and Flyers he has scored 0 goals to go with 11 assists, and averages about 19 minutes of ice-time per game.
