I live in the United States and I love it. I'm proud to be an American.
But man do I feel like I miss out on the cool stuff you Canadians get to see such as Hockey Night in Canada's annual playoff montage after the Stanley Cup is hoisted.
However, thanks to the all-mighty Interwebs, I found it!
It's almost as good as One Shining Moment for the NCAA basketball tournament. Sorry, but Luther Vandross > Coldplay.
Outside of that though, this is pretty awesome. It has some of more memorable single images of the playoffs including the agony of Panthers GM Dale Tallon when Florida lost in double OT of Game 7 and the excitement of Mamma and Poppa for son Braden Holtby. Of course, Raffi Torres' hit on Marian Hossa made an appearance, too.
I believe missing altogether from the montage were the San Jose Sharks, who unceremoniously went out in just five games to the St. Louis Blues in the first round.
And was it just me or was that awfully heavy on the Los Angeles Kings? I mean, what did that team do to deserve the lion's share of the highlight package? Oh, right.
H/t to Seth Rorabaugh, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, he's the one who really found it
