You have to feel at least a little bad for Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Joonas Korpisalo -- or any goalie -- after a play like this.
With his team already trailing the Buffalo Sabres 1-0 late in the first period on Friday night, he was victimized by a brutal bounce that allowed David Legwand to score a goal from another zip code.
Just watch this play unfold as Legwand, who was helping the Sabres kill a penalty, just flipped the puck the length of the ice to get it out of danger with no intention of scoring. And then something crazy happened: He ended up scoring a goal anyway, his fifth of the season.

That's rough, and it's the Blue Jackets' entire season to this point in a nutshell.
But if you're Joonas Korpisalo, you have to look on the bright side: That still probably isn't as bad as the goal Vesa Toskala gave up for the Toronto Maple Leafs a few years back.
