Oilers' Adam Cracknell: Designated for waivers
Cracknell was placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to AHL Bakersfield on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Cracknell signed a two-way contract with the Oilers in September. He'll serve as experienced veteran depth and could feature on the taxi squad later in the season, but there's not likely to be much room for him in the bottom six.

Oilers' Adam Cracknell: Returns from loan in Denmark
Cracknell is back from his loan in Denmark and will participate in the Oilers' training camp, Dustin Nielson of TSN 1260 reports.
Cracknell likely doesn't have much to offer the Oilers outside of a physical presence in the bottom six this year. He last played in the NHL in 2018-19, going scoreless in two games with the Ducks. He could be a candidate for the taxi squad in 2020-21.

Oilers' Adam Cracknell: Heading to Denmark
Cracknell signed a contract with a Danish team Wednesday, Dustin Nielson of TSN 1260 reports.
Cracknell signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Oilers on Sept. 10, but he will get playing time in Denmark before training camp opens in North America. The 35-year-old Cracknell hasn't played an NHL game since Feb. 5, 2019 when he was a member of the Ducks. He is expected to serve as organizational forward depth for the Oilers in the 2020-21 campaign.

Oilers' Adam Cracknell: Inks two-way deal with Edmonton
Cracknell signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Oilers on Thursday.
Cracknell spent the 2019-20 campaign with the Kunlun Red Star of the KHL, notching 10 goals and 14 helpers in 52 games. The 35-year-old forward will spend most, if not all of the 2020-21 season in the minors.

Adam Cracknell: Headed for China
Cracknell agreed to terms on a one-year contract with KHL club Kunlun Red Star.
Cracknell was only able to break into the Ducks lineup for two games last season, in which he notched zero points, three shots and a minus-1 rating while averaging 10:26 of ice time. The veteran center has appeared in 210 NHL games over his nine-year career, amassing 21 goals and 22 helpers over that stretch. This move likely marks the end of Cracknell's NHL career as he figures to close it out overseas.

Ducks' Adam Cracknell: Returned to bus league
The Ducks assigned Cracknell to AHL San Diego on Thursday, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports.
Cracknell has been a healthy scratch for five of seven games since being recalled on Jan. 22, so this move doesn't come as a surprise. The veteran forward will return to a prominent role with San Diego, where he's already racked up 13 points in 13 appearances this season.

Ducks' Adam Cracknell: Promoted on Tuesday
Cracknell was called up from AHL San Diego on Tuesday.
This counts as Cracknell's first look at Anaheim since his trade from the Maple Leafs on Dec. 10. The 33-year-old winger has compiled 43 points (21 goals, 22 assists) through 208 games at the top level, but the fact that he's still seeing AHL action as a 33-year-old tells you all that you need to know about his depressed fantasy prospects.

Ducks' Adam Cracknell: Traded to Ducks
Cracknell was traded to Anaheim for defenseman Steven Oleksy on Monday.
Neither player has appeared at the NHL level this season, but that could change for Cracknell given his new team's lack of depth at front. Still, the 33-year-old winger's likely to start at the AHL level with his new club.

Maple Leafs' Adam Cracknell: Sent to waivers
Cracknell was placed on waivers by Toronto on Sunday.
The 33-year-old journeyman was a depth signing for the Maple Leafs this offseason, signing a one-year deal. He played just five games last year with the Rangers and Stars, failing to register a point while averaging just 7:43 of ice time.

Maple Leafs' Adam Cracknell: Depth signing for Toronto
Cracknell signed a one-year, $650,000 deal with the Maple Leafs on Sunday.
Cracknell only has 43 points (21 goals, 22 assists) between 208 career contests and six NHL clubs. He's a depth player who shouldn't be on any fantasy rosters in 2018-19.

Canadiens' Adam Cracknell: Brought in via trade
Cracknell was acquired by the Canadiens from the Rangers on Thursday in exchange for Peter Holland.
For now Cracknell will report to AHL Laval, but don't be surprised to see him get called up sooner rather than later. In 208 career NHL games, the winger has racked up 21 goals and 22 helpers, so fantasy owners probably shouldn't expect an offensive explosion out of him if he does in fact get promoted to Montreal.

Rangers' Adam Cracknell: Placed on waivers
The Rangers waived Cracknell on Tuesday, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.
Cracknell has only averaged 7:29 of ice time in four games with New York this season, so the Rangers will likely opt to replace him with a younger player who can take on a larger role going forward. It remains to be seen if the veteran pivot will be willing to report to AHL Hartford if he goes unclaimed.

Rangers' Adam Cracknell: Snapped up by Rangers
Cracknell was claimed off waivers by the Rangers on Monday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports.
Despite tallying a career-high 10 goals for Dallas a season ago, the career fourth-liner found himself on waivers Sunday. Expect Cracknell to platoon on the Rangers' fourth line with the likes of David Desharnais, Andrew Desjardins and Paul Carey, while not contributing much from a fantasy standpoint.

Stars' Adam Cracknell: Waived on Sunday
Cracknell was waived by the Stars on Sunday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
The journeyman's utility to NHL clubs has been limited to that of a fourth-line center. Cracknell drew into Friday's road contest against the Blues but only logged 8:35 of ice time. Assuming he clears waivers, expect to see the 32-year-old latch on with AHL Texas.

Stars' Adam Cracknell: Posts first career hat trick in Friday's win
Cracknell notched his first career hat trick -- including one shorthanded goal -- with a plus-3 rating in 11:35 of ice time in Friday's 6-1 blowout win against the Sharks.
It was the most unlikely hat trick in NHL history, but it was up there. He entered the game with a total of seven goals and 12 points through the first 60 games. Cracknell hadn't turned on the lamp in 11 games dating back to Feb. 11. The three-goal effort shouldn't move the needle much in terms of his fantasy appeal, and he remains useful only in the deepest of pools.

Stars' Adam Cracknell: Inks one-year extension with Dallas
Cracknell signed a one-year, $675,000 contract extension with the Stars on Wednesday.
Cracknell has been a solid bottom-six contributor for the Stars this season, posting career highs in goals (seven) and blocked shots (32) over 53 games. The big-bodied forward's limited offensive production keeps him off the fantasy radar in all but the deepest of formats, but he'll remain a solid depth option for Dallas in 2016-17 if he doesn't get snagged by Las Vegas in the expansion draft.

Stars' Adam Cracknell: Returns to action
Cracknell (leg) returned to the lineup Monday, recording 12:12 of ice time in a win over the Capitals.
The hard-hitting depth pivot missed five games before reuniting with the team for the most recent contest. Despite only averaging 10:13 of ice time, he's managed seven goals and 10 points to complement a plus-13 rating, which is second best on the Stars.

Stars' Adam Cracknell: Lands on injured reserve
Cracknell (leg) is listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.
According to the NHL's IR policies, Cracknell will be eligible to return to the active lineup for Sunday's game against Boston, though at this point there's no certainty that he will return as soon as that considering the team has not released any sort of timetable for his return. The 31-year-old has just one point in the month of February, so his absence isn't likely to affect the majority of fantasy owners.

Stars' Adam Cracknell: Leaves with apparent leg injury
Cracknell (leg) left Saturday's game against the Lightning in the third period after a collision along the boards.
Cracknell was favoring his right leg after a hard but clean check. It's uncertain if he will miss any time, but Lauri Korpikoski or Jiri Hudler could draw if Cracknell needs time to recuperate. Only fantasy owners in the deepest of leagues need to worry about Cracknell.
