Ryan White: Released by Bruins
White was released from his tryout contract Monday by Boston, per TSN.
The 29-year-old has struggled to find a consistent gig since logging 73 games for Philadelphia in 2015-16, and will now officially become a free agent. White had been traveling and practicing with Boston since Oct. 10, and the release was mutually agreed upon.

Bruins' Ryan White: Signs PTO with Boston
White joined the Bruins on a professional tryout agreement Tuesday.
White joins Boston as it continues to struggle with injuries up front. He will immediately be available for Tuesday's morning skate and, potentially, Wednesday's contest in Colorado. The veteran journeyman failed to make the cut on a PTO with Vancouver during the preseason and is known mostly for his physical play than his offensive prowess. This move to Boston probably won't help White's fantasy stock in most formats.

Ryan White: Released from PTO with Canucks
Ryan White has been medically cleared and released from his PTO with the Canucks, according to the team's official Twitter account.
White has been a steady source of PIM throughout his NHL career, but it appears he won't be able to offer that service in Vancouver this season. While he could still catch on somewhere in the league, it's more likely that he heads somewhere overseas. The 29-year-old scored nine goals and racked up 84 PIM split between Arizona and Minnesota last season.

Canucks' Ryan White: Skating on own
White (concussion) is still in concussion protocol but continues to skate on his own, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 Vancouver reports.
White suffered the blow to his head during a preseason game on Sept. 16. The fact that he's skating is a good sign, but he'll need to be cleared for contact and get at least a few full sessions in with his teammates before returning. As such, he likely won't be ready for the team's season opener Saturday. Look for further information once the Canucks provide an update on his status.

Canucks' Ryan White: Going through concussion protocol
Per AHL Utica coach Trent Cull, White is believed to have suffered a concussion during Saturday's loss to the Kings and is going through the league's concussion protocol.
It's always difficult to pinpoint a timetable for concussions because it's difficult to predict how quickly a player can bounce back from the brain injury and pass through the league protocol, but we at least know that White won't be on the roster for the Canucks' games against the Kings in China. Expect an update once White passes protocol and begins skating again.

Canucks' Ryan White: Held off China roster due to injury
White was replaced on the team's travel roster (to China) due to an injury suffered in Los Angeles on Saturday, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 reports.
White joined the Canucks' roster on a professional tryout agreement, so an early injury during camp doesn't bode well for his chances of making the Opening Night roster. More information on his situation may arise in the near future, but Joseph LaBate will replace him among the players making the trip overseas.

Canucks' Ryan White: Set to attend Vancouver's training camp
White will join the Canucks at training camp on a professional tryout agreement.
White was decently productive while skating in a limited role last season, notching 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) in 65 games split between the Coyotes and Wild. The 29-year-old grinder will try to secure a bottom-six role with Vancouver in training camp, but he won't be a viable fantasy option in most formats, regardless of where he ends up.

Wild's Ryan White: Will play Saturday
White (illness) will be in the lineup Saturday versus the Cancuks, Michael Russo of the Star Tribune reports.
White reportedly is to tag in for Jordan Schroeder, who appears to be a healthy scratch. White fashioned two goals and an assist over his first pair of games following the trade from the Coyotes, but he's since been caught in a major rut with no points and a minus-4 rating in nine games since.

Wild's Ryan White: Not expected to play Thursday
White isn't expected to be in the lineup for Thursday's game against Philadelphia, Michael Russo of the Star Tribune reports.
Barring a miraculous recovery, White will miss a second consecutive game Thursday, and he remains without a definite timetable for his return to action. Jordan Schroeder will continue to draw into the lineup while White remains sidelined.

Wild's Ryan White: Scratched for Tuesday's game
White (illness) is listed among the scratches for Tuesday's game against the Sharks.
White is battling an illness, but he should not be sidelined for long. He has managed just 13 points through 46 games, so it isn't a huge loss outside of the very deepest of fantasy leagues. Jordan Schroeder will draw into the lineup in White's absence.

Wild's Ryan White: Questionable for Tuesday's contest
White (illness) is considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the Sharks.
The Wild will miss White's physicality if he's unable to go Tuesday, but his absence won't impact many fantasy owners' lineups, as his limited offensive production -- 13 points in 46 games this campaign -- keeps him from being a desirable option outside of formats that heavily reward hits and PIM. If White's unavailable against San Jose, Jordan Schroeder will likely slot into the lineup against the Sharks.

Wild's Ryan White: Goes wild in debut with Minnesota
White scored a goal and added an assist during Monday's overtime win against Los Angeles.
After registering just 13 points -- seven goals -- without a multi-point showing through 46 games with the Coyotes, White made a splash in his debut with the Wild. However, the veteran winger shouldn't be confused with anything other than a low-end fantasy option. White's value lies in his contributions in the PIM (70) and hits (138) columns, and he'll likely play a fourth-line role when Minnesota is healthy. He's best left to cavernous fantasy settings.

Wild's Ryan White: Traded to Wild
Arizona traded White, Martin Hanzal, and a 2017 fourth-round draft pick to Minnesota in exchange for a bevy of draft picks and minor leaguer Grayson Downing on Sunday, Bob McKenzie of TSN reports. As such, White will not play the Coyotes' game against the Sabres on Sunday.
White joins his third team in two full seasons after spending the 2015-16 campaign with the Flyers. The Manitoba native was not the focus of this trade (that honor belongs to Hanzal) and will likely continue to be a bottom-six player for his new club. He's recorded seven goals and six assists while averaging 10:57 of ice time so far this season.

Coyotes' Ryan White: Produces two points Monday
White scored a goal and dished out a helper Monday in a 5-0 win over Calgary.
White now has just 11 points in 40 games this year, but it's important to note that six of those have come in the last eight. The 28-year-old has never put up more than 16 points in a single campaign (last year with Philadelphia), so it's not likely his recent uptick in production will last. That said, it might not be a bad idea to roll the dice on White in daily formats while he's getting on the scoresheet.

Coyotes' Ryan White: Returns from 11-game absence
White (lower body) will make his return to the lineup Thursday against the Wild.
White's missed 11 games dating back to Dec. 21. The 28-year-old winger tallied two points over a five-game span prior to going down, but he still only has five points in 30 games on the season. He's really just a PIM specialist, having collected 60 already this season.

Coyotes' Ryan White: Game-time decision Thursday
White (lower body) will be a game-time decision against the Wild on Thursday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
White has been sidelined for the Yotes' last 11 outings, but appears to be nearing a return. In order to suit up, Arizona would need to activate the winger off injured reserve, which would require a corresponding roster move. If the 29-year-old is given the all-clear, Laurent Dauphin is the most likely candidate to find himself on the bus to AHL Tucson.

Coyotes' Ryan White: Out Wednesday
White (lower body) has been ruled out for Wednesday's meeting with the Jets, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Although he will not suit up against Winnipeg, White could be available for Thursday's matchup versus the Wild. The winger has missed the Yotes' last 10 contests, but even when healthy has not contributed much offensively. Prior to getting hurt, the 28-year-old had tallied a paltry two points in his previous 21 outings along with a minus-6 rating. Once cleared, White may struggle to regain his place on the game-day roster and will likely have to outwork Jordan Martinook or Lawson Crouse for a spot on the fourth line.

Coyotes' Ryan White: Still nursing lower-body ailment
White (lower body) won't travel with the team for their upcoming matchup with the Canucks on Wednesday, Sarah McLellan of azcentral sports reports.
White skated Tuesday but according to Yotes' head coach Dave Tippett, the winger is "Not improving as much as we'd like to see." The 28-year-old has been out the last four games since sustaining the ailment and the plan is for him to continue to rest until he makes more progress. The Manitoba native was averaging just 10:34 of ice time and has accumulated only five points over 30 games this season so he wasn't a great fantasy option either way.
