Chris Lee: Heads back to Russia
Lee signed a one-year deal to return to Magnitogorsk Metallurg on Thursday, Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reports.
Lee attended Kings training camp on a PTO in the hopes of making his NHL debut, but instead will return to the KHL, where he has played for the last four years. Following a four-year collegiate career with SUNY-Potsdam, the 37-year-old bounced around the minors in North America before heading to Germany to play in the DEL. Chris Lee: Dropped from PTO
Lee was dropped from his PTO with the Kings on Saturday, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Kings' Chris Lee: Giving NHL another shot
Lee will join Los Angeles at training camp on a professional tryout agreement, Ian McLaren of The Score reports.
Following a four-year collegiate career, the undrafted Lee attempted to find a landing spot -- spending six seasons bouncing around the minors. With no clear role in site, the blueliner went overseas, where he has been playing for the past seven years. It seems an impressive 2016-17 campaign with Magnitogorsk Metallurg -- 65 points in 60 outings -- has revived his NHL dreams as the 36-year-old will look to earn a permanent contract with the Kings.
