Taylor Beck: Heading to KHL
Beck will move overseas to play in the KHL for the 2017-18 campaign, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports.
Beck played in just five NHL games this past season -- two with the Rangers and three with Edmonton. The 26-year-old winger will likely be looking for a regular role and possibly more money, both of which can be achieved in the KHL. It seems unlikely the Ontario native will get another shot with an NHL squad, but a breakout year in Russia could help him earn his way back.

Rangers' Taylor Beck: Sent back to minors
Beck was reassigned to AHL Hartford on Tuesday.
Beck ended up appearing in four games with the Rangers this season, coming up particularly strong on his latest call-up. The 25-year-old garnered 1:27 of power-play ice time while facing the Senators on Saturday, then followed that up with four shots on goal and two hits the next day against the Penguins. At the very least, he'll be someone to keep an eye on in training camp this fall.

Rangers' Taylor Beck: Called up by Blueshirts
Beck was promoted to the Rangers from AHL Hartford on Friday.
Traded from the Oilers at this year's deadline, Beck has shredded AHL competition, indiscriminate of which minor-league team he's been on. The 25-year-old dropped 19 goals and 44 assists in 54 games split between the Condors and Wolf Pack this campaign. For Beck, it'll be important for him to stick with one organization since he's onto his third club since the Predators took him in the third round (70th overall) of the 2009 draft.

Rangers' Taylor Beck: On move at deadline
Beck was traded from the Oilers to the Rangers for fellow forward Justin Fontaine on Wednesday.
The Blueshirts may have gotten the better end of this deal, as Fontaine's just a bottom-six guy at best, but Beck has the upside to be more than that -- he's been a killer at the AHL level this year, ripping off 50 points in 40 games. It's not clear whether Beck will find his way into the Rangers' plans down the stretch, but with Jesper Fast (shoulder) scheduled to miss some time, he might find a bottom-six opening to occupy for a while. However, he'll probably spend the majority of his time at AHL Hartford.

Oilers' Taylor Beck: Sent to AHL on Monday
Beck was assigned to AHL Bakersfield on Monday.
The winger has only played three games in the NHL this year, and is pointless so far, so it makes sense to send him down. Replacing him with Edmonton is Anton Lander, who has been a high-scoring forward for AHL Bakersfield.

Oilers' Taylor Beck: Promoted to NHL
Beck was recalled from AHL Bakersfield on Thursday.
Beck has been a machine in the AHL this season, tallying two or more points in five of his last six games for the Condors while leading the minors in the category (30). The 25-year-old winger has yet to break onto the NHL scene in any significant way -- his best season came in 2014-15 with the Predators, when he recorded 16 points over 62 games -- but he'll now get another opportunity with the Oilers. Anton Slepyshev was assigned to the AHL in a corresponding roster move. The first opportunity for Beck to draw into the big club's lineup will be Saturday against the Lightning.

The Oilers assigned Beck to AHL Bakersfield on Saturday.
Zack Kassian (undisclosed) is expected to return to Edmonton's lineup Sunday against the Rangers, so the Oilers are no longer in need of Beck's services up front. The 25-year-old winger only logged 8:04 of ice time in the one game he drew into during his stay with the big club, and will likely spend the majority of the 2016-17 campaign in the minors.

The 25-year-old winger has notched 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in eight AHL contests this season and will look to build off the effort in what could be his first NHL action of the season. Given the number of injuries it required for him to rejoin the club, it's possible his stay with the team won't last beyond the next player's return from injury.

Beck was traded to Colorado on Monday in exchange for Marc-Andre Cliche, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.
Beck is a sizable winger who's only played in two NHL games this season. He did, however, pitch in 16 goals and 17 assists along with a plus-11 rating for AHL Bridgeport, a minor-league affiliate of the Islanders. There was no shortage of depth players getting new sweaters as part of the NHL trade deadline Monday, with Beck included in that mix.

Islanders' Taylor Beck: Assigned to AHL Bridgeport
The Islanders assigned Beck to AHL Bridgeport following Wednesday's game.
Beck only appeared in two games for the Islanders after being recalled in late October, so the team sent him back to Bridgeport to give him a chance to see more ice time. He tallied seven points in 10 AHL games earlier this season, so he will garner consideration next time the Islanders need to add a forward to the roster.

The team's superstar center John Tavares is out Saturday afternoon against the Devils due to an undisclosed injury, paving the way for Beck to be the emergency replacement.
