Anders Lindback: Headed overseas
Lindback signed a one-year contract with HC Davos (Switzerland) on Saturday.
Lindback returned from Europe ahead of the 2017-18 campaign with the hopes of breaking into the Predators' roster, but instead spent the entire season -- excluding a few call-ups in which he never saw the ice -- in the minors with AHL Milwaukee. A strong year from youngster Juuse Saros as the No. 2 behind Pekka Rinne made the veteran Lindback expendable. At this point, it seems unlikely the Swede will get another shot to return to North America. If this is the end of his NHL career, Lindback will retire having played 130 games in which he posted a 45-58-8 record with three shutouts and a .904 save percentage.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Promoted to NHL
Lindback was called up from AHL Milwaukee on Thursday, TSN reports.
Lindback won't be much more than a practice goalie, as the Predators will likely allow starter Pekka Rinne to skip practices and game-day skates in order to keep him fresh for postseason contests. With the Admirals, the 29-year-old Lindback posted a 31-20-2 record, along with a .908 save percentage -- not exactly numbers to instill confidence in the coaching staff if the netminder needed to suit up.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Sent back to minors
Lindback was reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Monday.
Lindback's promotion came during the Predators' bye week in order to get No. 2 Juuse Saros some action in the minors. The 27-year-old Lindback enjoyed the benefit of a week of rest and will return to the Admirals, for whom he has posted a 17-6-0 record with a .920 save percentage.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Recalled by big club
The Predators recalled Lindback from AHL Milwaukee on Wednesday.
Nashville sent Juuse Saros to the minors in a corresponding move so the 22-year-old netminder can continue to play during the Predators' five-day break. The two goaltenders will once again switch places in advance of Tuesday's matchup with Vegas.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Sent down Monday
Lindback was reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Monday.
This is now the third time this season that Lindback has been yo-yo'd between the AHL and NHL in order to give No. 2 goaltender Jusse Saros an opportunity to stay fresh by starting games in the minors. There's no reason to give Lindback any fantasy lineup consideration unless he's recalled in the event of an injury to the netminders ahead of him on the organizational depth chart.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Back in NHL
Lindback was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Friday.
The Swedish netminder hasn't appeared in an NHL game since the 2015-16 season with Arizona, but the Predators continue to rotate him with Juuse Saros to keep his conditioning at an acceptable level and benefit from hanging around NHL talent in practice from time-to-time. Obviously he has no fantasy value unless something were to happen to star goalie Pekka Rinne.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Heading back to AHL
Lindback was reassigned to AHL Milwaukee on Sunday, per the league's transactions page.
The big Swede is currently in his second stint with the Nashville organization, though it doesn't seem as though he's being given serious consideration for playing time this time around. Lindback's recall was made for the sole reason of giving the franchise's No. 2 goaltender, Juuse Saros, a chance to see game action in the minors.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Recalled from minors
Lindback was called up from AHL Milwaukee on Thursday.
This move is likely more about getting Juuse Saros minutes with the Admirals than it is about Lindback's performance. With games Thursday and Saturday against Vancouver and Anaheim respectively, the veteran will almost certainly spend his time on the bench watching Pekka Rinne patrol the crease. A swap between the Swede and Saros should be expected in the near future.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Shipped back to Milwaukee
Lindback was reassigned to the minors Monday.
As expected, Lindback's promotion to Nashville was short lived, as the goal was simply to get youngster Juuse Saros some game action. Having achieved that outcome, the 29-year-old Swede returns to the Admirals, where he has posted an 8-3-0 record with a .918 save percentage. While this probably isn't the last time the Predators will swap these two netminders, it seems Saros -- not Lindback -- is the long-term replacement for Pekke Rinne.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Called up from minors
Lindback earned his first call-up of the season Thursday.
While the decision to swap backup goalies could be contributed to getting Juuse Saros some much needed play time, Lindback's 8-3-0 record and 2.46 GAA with AHL Milwaukee were no doubt factors as well. The 29-year-old hasn't appeared in an NHL game since 2015-16 when he was with Arizona, but may have to wait even longer as Nashville is not scheduled for a back-to-back until December.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Reassigned to minors
Lindback was sent down to AHL Milwaukee on Monday.
Lindback -- who is making his second stint with the Predators -- will be a familiar name for Admirals fans as he previously played for Milwaukee from 2010-12. The 2008 seventh-round pick will likely spend the bulk of the year in the minors splitting time with Matt O'Connor.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Gets Sunday's starting nod
Lindback will start Sunday's preseason tilt against Columbus, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
The big Swede last played in the NHL during the 2015-16 campaign and is hoping a return to Nashville -- where he enjoyed two successful seasons as Pekka Rinne's backup -- will rejuvenate his career. While Lindback is currently toiling as the organization's third or fourth goaltender, it's certainly within the realm of possibility for Lindback to play himself into an NHL role in 2017-18.

Predators' Anders Lindback: Returns to Nashville
Lindback signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Predators on Saturday, per CapFriendly. The deal is worth $650,000 in the NHL but just $100,000 in the minors.
His name should ring a bell for hockey enthusiasts that followed the NHL between 2010-16. Lindback had stints with the Predators, Lightning, Stars, Sabres and Coyotes, respectively, before joining Rogle BK in his home country this past season. A career backup, Lindback has a 45-58-8 record to go along with a 2.87 GAA and .904 save percentage over 130 career NHL games.
