Joe Morrow: Headed overseas
Morrow agreed to terms on a contract with Dinamo Minsk (KHL) on Monday, Seth Rorabaugh of TribLive.com reports.
Morrow was released by the Devils on Saturday in order to facilitate his move overseas. This very well could mark the end of the blueliner's NHL career, which would see him retire having played in 162 games for Montreal, Winnipeg and Boston. Drafted by the Penguins with the 23rd overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, the blueliner never appeared in a game for the club after he was traded to Dallas in exchange for Brenden Morrow and a 2013 third-round pick that would eventually become Jake Guentzel.

Joe Morrow: Slated for release
The Devils have placed Morrow on unconditional waivers, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Morrow signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Devils in early October, but it looks like his stay with the organization won't last the full year. If he goes unclaimed through waivers, Morrow will become a free agent.

Devils' Joe Morrow: Lands one-year deal
Morrow agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with New Jersey on Sunday.
After signing his deal, Morrow was placed on waivers in order to move him down to the minors. The defenseman figures to start the year in the AHL, but should be in line for a promotion to the NHL sooner rather than later. In 41 games with the Jets last season, the Edmonton native notched seven points and is unlikely to improve upon that in 2019-20.

Morrow was released from his professional tryout by the Rangers on Monday.
The addition of Jacob Trouba in the offseason, combined with the emergence of Adam Fox, likely prevented Morrow from earning a contract from the club. The 26-year-old could still find a landing spot, but at this point may have to settle for a minor-league contract or make the move overseas. If the blueliner can't find a new home, he would see his NHL career come to a close having notched nine goals and 23 helpers in 162 contests.

Morrow inked a professional tryout agreement with the Rangers on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Morrow logged just 41 games with the Jets last season, in part due to injuries. The 26-year-old blueliner has a decent shot of securing a spot on the 23-man roster, but will need to outperform youngsters Libor Hajek (shoulder) and Anthony DeAngelo (lower body). Even if Morrow can secure a permanent deal, he may need to settle for a two-way contract and spend some time in the minors.

Morrow wasn't tendered a qualifying offer by the Jets and will become a free agent July 1, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Morrow played in just 41 NHL games, in part due to injuries, in which he tallied one goal, six helpers and 40 shots. The defender's lack of offensive production will limit his options in free agency, though he should still be capable of finding a new home.

Morrow has tallied an assist, four hits and one blocked shot in two games back from injury.
Morrow averaged 15:00 of ice time in the last two games, which is over a minute more than his season average. The increased ice time almost certainly comes as a result of continued absences for Dustin Byfuglien (ankle) and Josh Morrissey (upper body). Once the Winnipeg defensive corps gets fully healthy, the veteran Morrow will see his opportunities diminish.
