Griffin Reinhart: Inks KHL deal
Reinhart signed a one-year deal with Kunlun Red Star of the KHL on Tuesday, Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reports.
Reinhart put up four goals and 12 helpers in 75 games with AHL Chicago last year, but hasn't appeared in an NHL regular-season game since 2015-16, when he was with Edmonton. Without a clear path to the NHL, the 2014 fourth-overall pick will give European hockey a shot for the first time in his career.

Golden Knights' Griffin Reinhart: Hits waiver wire
Reinhart was placed on waivers Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Once a highly touted prospect after being selected fourth overall in the 2012 NHL Draft, Reinhart has lost some of his shine and hasn't played in the NHL since 2016. That being said, Reinhart is just 23 years old and has a salary cap hit of $800,000, so it wouldn't be surprising if another organization claimed the blueliner.

Golden Knights' Griffin Reinhart: Shuffles to minors
Reinhart was added to AHL Chicago's roster via the Golden Knights on Friday. According to Bob McKenzie of TSN, the defenseman will be on a conditioning stint.
Vegas made a point to add a surplus of defensemen in the expansion draft, which was a smart move given how that's generally considered one of the tougher positions to stock. Reinhart actually hasn't played in an NHL game since 2015-16 -- when he was with the Oilers -- so fantasy owners should view him as little more than an organizational depth option at this juncture.

Golden Knights' Griffin Reinhart: Notches preseason assist
Reinhart recorded one assist in a 4-2 preseason loss to Anaheim on Sunday.
The youngster not only provided a primary assist in the second period, but also recorded two shots on goal, one blocked shot, and one takeaway. Reinhart only facilitated one assist in 29 games last season, so getting a point is an encouraging sign -- even if it was a preseason game. Reinhart will likely be given a third-line role in Las Vegas during the 2017-18 season.

Golden Knights' Griffin Reinhart: Signs two-year deal with Vegas
Reinhart signed a two-year contract with the Golden Knights on Saturday. The deal is worth $800,000 annually.
It's officially a clean slate for Reinhart, who quickly fell out of favor with the Islanders, but was picked up by Vegas in the expansion draft. Originally selected fourth overall by the Isles in 2012, the defenseman went on to produce a mere two points with a minus-5 rating over 37 games. With respect to the pressure cooker of the NHL, look for head coach Gerard Gallant to shield him from a role that doesn't mesh with his natural skill set. Reinhart can be an imposing presence from the back line, but expecting a ton of minutes right out of the gate probably isn't realistic.

Golden Knights' Griffin Reinhart: Shipping out to Vegas
Reinhart has been selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, John Shannon of Sportsnet reports.
A colossal bust over the course of his brief NHL career, Reinhart will get a fresh start in Vegas. Selected fourth overall by the Islanders in the 2012 Entry Draft, Reinhart was eventually traded to Edmonton for a draft pick that the Isles used to select top prospect Mathew Barzal. It's a trade that the Oilers' brass could regret for years to come. As for Reinhart, he has no goals and two assists in 37 career NHL games. His defensive play is erratic, and he's shown below-average puck skills. While he's young enough at 23 that it makes sense for Vegas to take a chance on him, fantasy owners shouldn't expect much.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Called up Saturday
Reinhart has been recalled from Bakersfield of the American Hockey Leagues.
Reinhart appears to be an insurance callup in case Oscar Klefbom (lower leg) is unable to participate in Game 3 of Edmonton's first-round playoff series against the Sharks. Reinhart, 23, has 21 points with the Condors this season.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Headed back to AHL
Reinhart was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Sunday.
Reinhart has totaled 11 points (five goals, four assists) with the team's AHL affiliate this season, but has yet to see any action at the top level this season. It's unlikely he will obtain a significant role with the Oilers in 2016-17, so he can safely be avoided in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Promoted to parent club
Reinhart was called up from AHL Bakersfield on Saturday.
Forward Jujhar Khaira (upper body) and defenseman Matt Benning (undisclosed) were both placed on injured reserve Saturday, so the Oilers decided to patch the holes with Reinhart and another blue-line prospect in Jordan Oesterle. If you're looking for the bread and butter in Reinhart's game, it's in the form of blocked shots -- he's redirected 46 of those in 29 games this season.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Getting back checked out
Reinhart is in Edmonton getting his back looked at by Dr. Naidu, Bob Stauffer of 630 CHED reports.
Reinhart has played in only four games for AHL Bakersfield this season, likely due to the issue with his back, and the 22-year-old will now seek a medical diagnosis so he can correct the problem. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2012 draft has yet to have a significant impact at the NHL level but given his age, there's no telling what the blueliner might have in store down the road.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Heads to minors Friday
Reinhart was assigned to AHL Bakersfield on Friday.
Reinhart did well in training camp, adding two points in twice as many games, but the offseason addition of Adam Larsson has bumped him down on the organizational depth chart. He still projects well long term, as he was the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Assigned to AHL
Reinhart was sent down to Bakersfield of the AHL on Monday.
Reinhart was acquired from the Islanders in a draft-day trade but hardly distinguished himself this season with one assist in 29 games. There's still hope that the former first-round pick will become a top-pair defender, but at this point he's starting to look like a late bloomer.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Recalled from AHL
Reinhart was recalled from AHL Bakersfield by the Oilers on Monday.
Reinhart was called up in response to Brandon Davidson's lower-body injury sustained Sunday. If Davidson gets shut down for awhile, Reinhart is in a good position to pickup some additional playing time in Edmonton. The 24-year-old defenseman has notched 11 points in 51 contests with the Oilers this season.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Rejoins Edmonton
Reinhart was recalled by the Oilers on Monday.
Reinhart and forward Zack Kassian were both sent to the AHL Bakersfield affiliate just before the All-Star break to get in some extra work, but the two were both recalled by the parent club Monday. The addition of Reinhart gives the Oilers seven defensemen, and he remains a suspect lineup option on a nightly basis.

Oilers' Griffin Reinhart: Reassigned Sunday
Reinhart was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Sunday.
Reinhart's first recall since November was short-lived, though he recorded an assist in the lone game that he played in. It's highly probable that Reinhart is recalled after the All-Star break concludes, as the Oilers likely sent Reinhart down to get some more game time during the break.
