Capitals' Sean Collins: Clears waivers Thursday
Collins cleared waivers Thursday and has been assigned to AHL Hershey.
The Capitals opted to replace Collins with Chandler Stephenson on their 23-man roster after the 26-year-old underwhelmed in the first two games of the season, registering a minus-1 rating in the two tilts. Collins registered 36 points (17 goals, 19 assists) in 64 games with AHL Springfield last season.

Capitals' Sean Collins: Waived by Caps
Collins was placed on waivers by the Capitals on Wednesday, Pierre LeBrun of ESPN reports.
Collins didn't provide much in the first couple games of the season, sporting a minus-1 rating through the two contests. He will now likely head to AHL Hershey assuming he passes through waivers.
