Jenys didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Kings on Tuesday.
Jenys will thus become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. The 2014 seventh-round pick has had trouble hanging onto a spot on an AHL roster during the past two seasons, so he may need to head overseas to continue his career.

Kings' Pavel Jenys: Off to LA
Jenys was traded to the Kings from the Wild on Wednesday in exchange for defenseman Stepan Falkovsky.
In 2018-19, Jenys has appeared in nine games for the ECHL's Allen Americans, posting four goals along the way. Likely to report to AHL Ontario once everything with the recent trade is finalized, the 22-year-old does not presently belong on anybody's fantasy radar.
