Blue Jackets' Michael Paliotta: Reassigned to minors
Paliotta was returned to the Monsters of the AHL on Saturday.
Well, that didn't last long. Paliotta was summoned to the parent club ahead of Saturday's match against the Panthers. He set two shots on net and had a pair of penalties in his debut with the Jackets, one for crosschecking and the other for interference. The big defender will need to play with more control to warrant a longer stay with the parent club upon his next call-up.

Blue Jackets' Michael Paliotta: Recalled by Blue Jackets
Paliotta was recalled from AHL Lake Erie on Friday.
Paliotta has one career NHL game thus far, but the the former third-round pick may finally be able to add to that total. While he's tallied 21 points (seven goals) over 50 games with AHL Lake Erie this season, his role with the Blue Jackets will likely be minimized, and he shouldn't receive fantasy consideration in many leagues.
