Jets' Jay Harrison: Dealt to Blackhawks
Harrison was traded to the Blackhawks on Thursday and will be sent to AHL Rockford, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The veteran defenseman has spent this season with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL in the Jets' system, netting a minus-six rating over 18 games. He is included in a package headlined by Andrew Ladd heading back to the Blackhawks in exchange for Marko Dano, a first round draft pick, and a conditional pick. Harrison is set to join the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate once the trade is finalized.

Hurricanes' Harrison Off To Strong Start
Harrison assisted on Riley Nash's second-period goal during Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Coyotes, giving him three points through six games so far this season.Harrison seems to be suffering no ill effects from the concussion he sustained in the second-last game against the Rangers last season.
