Adam Pardy: Announces retirement
Pardy will hang up his skates and end his playing career, Robin Short of The Telegram reports.
Pardy was selected by the Flames in the sixth round of the 2004 NHL Draft and went on to play in 342 NHL games with Calgary, Dallas, Buffalo, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Nashville. The blueliner spent the 2018-19 campaign with ECHL Newfoundland after one season overseas. The 35-year-old recorded four goals, 48 helpers and 269 PIM in his NHL career.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Back in action with AHL Milwaukee
Pardy (upper body) registered one shot and a plus-1 rating in Sunday's minor-league clash against AHL Texas.
Pardy is back to 100 percent and should be available for the Predators to call up if they need some added depth for their postseason run. That said, the blueliner has just nine points in 27 contests with the Admirals, so he'd most likely be utilized for his ability in the defensive third rather than factoring in much on offense.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Out indefinitely with upper-body injury
Pardy sustained an upper-body ailment in Wednesday's AHL game against Charlotte and will be out indefinitely.
While fantasy owners shouldn't concern themselves with a veteran who rarely plays in the NHL, this news does serve up a bit of a blow to a Predators organization that has also lost forward Cody Bass for the rest of the season due to a lower-body injury.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Assigned to AHL on Sunday
Pardy was sent to AHL Milwaukee on Sunday, Adam Vignan of the Tennessean reports.
The defenseman hasn't scored a point in four games in the NHL this year, so he wasn't much of a fantasy producer in his limited time in the big league. He has bounced between the minors and the NHL all year, so he could easily end up back in the NHL shortly.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Recalled from AHL
Pardy was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Monday, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
The defenseman hasn't done much in the NHL this year, playing a single game and recording no points. He has seven points in 16 AHL games, but it's tough to say whether that production will transfer to the NHL, so Pardy isn't a high-priority fantasy target in most leagues.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Reassigned to AHL
Pardy was sent back to AHL Milwaukee on Sunday.
Pardy posted two shots on goal, two penalty minutes, and a plus-1 rating while playing a fill-in role for the Predators while Ryan Ellis was sidelined with an upper-body injury. With Ellis likely returning to the lineup soon, Pardy goes back to the minors for more seasoning.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Called up from AHL
The Predators recalled Pardy from AHL Milwuakee on Saturday.
Pardy, a veteran journeyman, has yet to make his season debut, though that could be forthcoming with blueliners Ryan Ellis (upper body) and Anthony Bitetto (hand) both on injured reserve. While he'll provide modest defensive utility for the club, most fantasy owners will not be joining this Pardy, as he's only reached 10 points in a single season once in eight years of NHL service time.

Predators' Adam Pardy: Signs deal with Nashville
Pardy inked a one-year, two-way contract with the Predators on Wednesday, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.
Per NHL rules, Pardy was waived by the team Wednesday as well in order to make him eligible to move back and forth between the Preds and their minor league affiliate. The blueliner was already with Milwaukee on an AHL deal, registering two goals and three helpers in 12 outings. Assuming he goes unclaimed off waivers, the 32-year-old will add some organizational depth on the blue line.

Adam Pardy: Dropped from PTO with Panthers
Pardy, who had been in camp on a professional tryout agreement, was released by the Panthers on Thursday, TSN reports.
Pardy is a 32-year-old struggling to find substantial work. It's not uncommon for players in his situation to look for a job overseas, but there hasn't been so much as a rumor that the veteran is heading in that direction.

Panthers' Adam Pardy: Inked to PTO
Pardy signed a professional tryout offer with the Panthers on Thursday, Harvey Fialkov of the Sun-Sentinel reports.
Pardy is an NHL journeyman, having played for five different clubs since the Flames made him a sixth-round draft pick in 2004. While he's never been a scorer, the 32-year-old defender effectively uses his 6-foot-4, 227-pound frame to play physically and assume the role of agitator.

Oilers' Adam Pardy: Will play Saturday
Pardy (hand) will return to the lineup Saturday against the Flames, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
Expected to rejoin the action Saturday, that will indeed be the case for the first time since mid-March. While he's picked up his scoring pace (two points in six games) and has seen increased ice time (21:18 average) since joining Edmonton, he remains off the man advantage and can't be counted on enough for consideration in the vast majority of fantasy leagues.

Oilers' Adam Pardy: Likely returning Saturday
Oilers coach Todd McLellan indicated Friday that Pardy (hand) should return to the lineup Saturday against the Flames.
Pardy was given a week-to-week timetable in mid-March, but has finally reached the cusp of a return to game action. He's managed two assists in six games since joining the Oilers, and the increased ice time (21:18) likely accounts for that increased rate of production. Still, he remains off the radar in most season-long leagues and the fact that he doesn't skate on the man advantage makes him a less intriguing prospect for daily lineups as well. Expect confirmation of Pardy's status for Saturday's contest on game day.

Oilers' Adam Pardy: Skates Monday
Pardy (hand) joined his teammates on the ice during Monday's practice, but was not part of the line pairings.
Pardy remains without a definite timetable, but his presence on practice ice Monday seems to suggest he may be starting to close in. Expect further updates when the blueliner is set to play.

Oilers' Adam Pardy: Not in lineup Tuesday
Pardy (hand) is not in the starting lineup Tuesday and thus is unlikely to play against the Coyotes, Bob Stauffer of 630 CHED reports.
Pardy did practice on Tuesday, so he could be returning very soon. The 31-year-old veteran defender has notched just three points in 20 games this season, so he wasn't contributing a ton of fantasy value in any case. His next chance to take the ice will come Thursday at San Jose.

Oilers' Adam Pardy: Returns to practice Tuesday
Pardy (undisclosed) returned to practice Tuesday.
Pardy has been out since getting hurt blocking a shot March 8, but his participation in practice is a good sign that his return could come sooner rather than later. Keep in mind, however, that even when healthy, he's no better than a bottom-pairing defender with very little upside.

Oilers' Adam Pardy: Out at least one week
Pardy is week-to-week as of Saturday with an undisclosed injury, play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
Pardy has been a bit player for both Edmonton and Winnipeg this season, as he's been involved in a mere 20 games this season. With just three assists in those outings, the defenseman offers little in terms of fantasy value and will likely not be missed from your daily lineups. The 31-year-old will be replaced by Nikita Nikitin for Saturday's matchup with Arizona.
