2026 NL Cy Young Kalshi trading preview
Skenes is the reigning NL Cy Young winner and he's having another great season with a 2.89 ERA and 75 strikeouts over 65 1/3 innings. However, he's only 10th in the National League in ERA and seventh in strikeouts this season and he's had a few tough starts of late.
Meanwhile, Phillies lefty Sanchez is having a career year an NL-leading 1.47 ERA and 95 strikeouts over 79 1/3 innings. His 4.3 pitching WAR is more than a win better than any other pitcher in the league, but Misiorowski's swing-and-miss stuff is also turning heads. The Brewers righty leads the NL in strikeouts (108) and hits allowed per nine innings (4.69) while posting a stellar 1.65 ERA of his own.
Ohtani's two-way status makes him the frontrunner for NL MVP honors, but his pitching numbers stand on their own merit. He hasn't met the minimum for innings pitched to qualify for most statistical categories, but he has a 0.82 ERA over nine starts and is striking out more than a batter per inning. Other top NL Cy Young contenders on Kalshi include Reds righty Chase Burns ($0.05), Ohtani's teammate Yoshinobu Yamamoto ($0.03) and Padres reliever Mason Miller ($0.02).
