Georgia Tech is coming off a 9-4 (6-2 ACC) season in 2025, having defeated Colorado 27-20 in its previous Week 1 matchup. Stanford is coming off a 37-27 win against Hawaii in Week 0 to kick off new head coach Tavita Pritchard's tenure. Quarterback Davis Warren threw for 310 yards and one touchdown on 22 of 34 passing, while running back Micah Ford recorded 99 yards and three touchdowns on 25 rushing attempts.

LSU will kick off its first season under new head coach Lane Kiffin against Clemson in Baton Rouge on Saturday. Kiffin led Ole Miss to its first College Football Playoff berth before accepting the position at LSU, forcing him to miss the postseason.

Notre Dame will look to replace running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, with junior Aneyas Williams expected to carry the load. Williams recorded 224 yards and five touchdowns on 24 rushing attempts in 2025.
