After disappointing in Champions League last season, it only took three minutes for Milan to open the scoring against Liverpool at the San Siro on Tuesday thanks to American Christian Pulisic. It's his third goal of the season in all competitions for Milan as despite their poor performances under Paulo Fonseca, he has been in great form to kick off his second season in Milan.

Familiar with facing the Reds thanks to his time in the Premier League with Chelsea, Pulisic has netted his third goal against them on the day before his 26th birthday. Being able to ride that goal to a victory would be the best way to kick off the league phase of Champions League play.

Let's take a look at the goal:

After receiving the ball from Alvaro Morata, no one on Liverpool closed down Pulisic giving him a one-on-one chance with Alisson that he wouldn't miss. Pulisic's national teammate Weston McKennie also scored for Juventus in what has so far been a banner day for Americans in Europe's top club competition.

Milan's off to a great start in the match, and now it's time to see how they keep the pressure on as the first half continues because Liverpool is a team that can run up the score on their own.
