Anthony Hernandez will look for the biggest win of his career on Saturday when he faces Sean Strickland in a middleweight clash in the main event of UFC Fight Night from Toyota Center in Houston.

Strickland is a former UFC middleweight champion, having scored a shock win over Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. He would go on to drop the title in his next fight, a split decision loss to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297. Strickland rebounded with a split decision win over Paulo Costa before losing in a championship rematch with du Plessis.

Hernandez's UFC career got off to a rough start, going 1-2 in his first three fights in the Octagon. He has since rattled off eight wins in a row to climb to the No. 4 spot in the official UFC middleweight rankings, one spot behind Strickland.

UFC Fight Night also features two perennial contenders looking to protect their places in the pecking order. Geoff Neal (No. 12) battles the tenacious Uros Medic, and Dan Ige (No. 14) tries to snap Melquizael Costa's five-fight win streak. Both veterans approach fight night renewed after overcoming personal health issues. For Neal, a five-year battle with substance abuse. For Ige, eye injuries before the Patricio Pitbull fight.

Elsewhere on the undercard, ranked heavyweights are set to collide when Ante Delija and Serghei Spivac face off. Delija is looking to bounce back from a surprising knockout loss to rising contender Waldo Cortes Acosta in November. Prior to that, Delija scored two first-round knockouts in his first two UFC appearances. And an interesting UFC debut is set at welterweight when Josiah Harrell takes on Jacobe Smith. Harrell was scheduled to make his promotional debut at UFC 290 against Jack Della Maddalena, but during his fight week medical screening, doctors discovered he had Moyamoya, a rare brain disease that causes the arteries supplying blood to the brain to become narrowed or blocked. Now, nearly three years later, he gets his chance to make a first impression.
