Browns' Andre Szmyt: Scores all points in blowout loss
Szmyt made both of his field-goal attempts in the Browns' 27-6 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Szmyt converted his 31-yard and 32-yard field-goal attempts in the second quarter of Sunday's contest. The kicker accounted for all six of the Browns' points in the divisional loss. Szmyt is now 16-for-18 on field-goal attempts and 11-for-12 on PATs through eight regular-season games in 2026.

Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Held without catch in Week 8
Jeudy did not catch his lone target Sunday in Cleveland's 27-6 loss to Pittsburgh.
Quarterback Deshaun Watson had a relatively productive day with 324 passing yards (albeit without a score), but Jeudy received only one of his targets. The veteran wideout logged his usual amount of paying time, notching a 60 percent offensive snap share to finish third among Cleveland wide receivers. It was the third time this season Jeudy has finished without a catch, but the other two instances were in Weeks 3 and 4, and he had been more involved of late, averaging 3.5 catches and 36.3 receiving yards over his previous four games. With that in mind, he could get back on track in Week 9 against a New Orleans defense that has been middle-of-the-pack against wideouts this year.

Browns' Malachi Corley: Still without target through eight games
Corley went untargeted while playing 13 of 70 snaps on offense Sunday in the Browns' 27-6 loss to the Steelers. He returned one kickoff for 26 yards.
For the fourth time in eight appearances, Corley logged double-digit snaps on offense, but the third-year receiver has yet to draw a target this season. He'll continue to provide most of his value to the Browns as a kickoff returner.

Browns' Tylan Wallace: Notches second catch of season
Wallace recorded a three-yard reception on his lone target in Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Steelers.
The reception was Wallace's second of the season, after he previously notched a 12-yard grab in a Week 6 win over the Ravens. A key part of the Browns' special-teams coverage units, Wallace continues to handle a limited role on offense while the the team relies primarily on rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston and veteran Jerry Jeudy to fill out snaps at receiver.

Browns' Isaiah Bond: Sees single-digit offensive snaps in loss
Bond went without a target while taking the field for eight of the Browns' 70 snaps on offense in Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Steelers. He returned one kickoff for 26 yards.
Since posting a 3-74-0 receiving line on seven targets in a Week 5 loss to the Jets, Bond has settled back into a muted role on offense. He's logged single-digit snaps in three straight contests, going without a target in each of those games.

Browns' Dylan Sampson: Records six grabs in loss
Sampson rushed one time for seven yards and caught six of eight targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Steelers.
Sampson was out-carried 11 to one by Quinshon Judkins, but the former has carved out a role as the preferred pass-catching back for Cleveland since returning from injured reserve in Week 7. Over the last two games, Sampson has turned 11 targets into nine catches for 94 yards, while adding seven carries for 52 yards. Sampson will have some PPR fantasy appeal during weeks when the Browns are projected to trail on the scoreboard.

Browns' KC Concepcion: Comes back to Earth in Week 8 loss
Concepcion caught three of four targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Steelers.
After a breakout game last Sunday against the Titans, which saw Concepcion record eight grabs for 129 yards on 10 targets, the rookie wideout came crashing back down against a divisional foe. Concepcion's four targets were a distant fourth on the team behind Harold Fannin (12), Denzel Boston (11) and Dylan Sampson (eight), and his four looks were good for just a 10.3 percent target share. Concepcion will try to rebound next Sunday against the Saints, but he's shown little upside, with zero touchdowns and just two games with more than 50 receiving yards.

Browns' Denzel Boston: Six snags in loss
Boston caught six of 11 targets for 37 yards during Sunday's 27-6 loss to the Steelers.
Boston entered Week 8 having caught just four of 13 targets for 42 yards over the previous two games, so Sunday's output was a step in the right direction. The wide receiver's 11 targets were a new career high, and he ranked second behind tight end Harold Fannin (12) in the category versus Pittsburgh. Boston has now reeled in 26 of 53 targets for 409 yards and three touchdowns over the first eight games of the 2026 campaign.

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Over 300 passing yards in loss
Watson completed 27 of 39 passes for 324 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while rushing three times for two yards in the Browns' 27-6 loss to the Steelers on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
Watson couldn't get lead the Browns to a single touchdown, but he exceeded 300 passing yards for the second straight game since Cleveland was forced into a pass-centric approach. Watson displayed the most chemistry with Harold Fannin (10-154-0 on 12 targets), and he recorded completions to seven different targets overall. Watson also lost the handle on a combined sack by Patrick Queen and Cameron Heyward in the first quarter, which led to a Steelers touchdown. Watson will look to rebound in a favorable road matchup against the Saints in Week 9 next Sunday.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Stymied by Steelers in loss
Judkins rushed 11 times for 25 yards and brought in both targets for 24 yards in the Browns' 27-6 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Judkins dominated the Browns' rushing touches, but he was repeatedly stonewalled by an aggressive Steelers front. Judkins ultimately finished with his second-lowest rushing yardage total of the season, although he did make good use of his two pass-catching opportunities. Judkins is finding running room sparse on most weeks behind Cleveland's spotty blocking, but he remains in clear possession of the lead role heading into a Week 9 road matchup against the Saints next Sunday.

Browns' Harold Fannin: Career-best day in loss
Fannin brought in 10 of 12 targets for 154 yards in the Browns' 27-6 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Fannin was one of the few bright spots for the Browns on either side of the ball in the ugly loss, setting new career highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. Cleveland's gradual shift to a pass-centric approach as its deficit grew was a boon for Fannin's production, and the second-year tight end now has a combined 16-245-0 line on 21 targets over the last two games alone. Fannin will aim to carry over the elite caliber of play into a Week 9 road matchup against the Saints next Sunday.
