Kraken's Brandon Montour: Ready to return
Montour (hand) was taken off injured reserve, per Sound of Hockey, which indicates that he'll play Thursday in Boston.
Montour hasn't been in the lineup since Dec. 16 due to the injury. He has six goals, 16 points, 21 PIM, 34 hits and 35 blocks in 27 appearances in 2025-26. Now that Montour is healthy, he'll probably serve in a top-four capacity, while Cale Fleury might be a healthy scratch against the Bruins.

Kraken's Jacob Melanson: Sent down Thursday
Melanson was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Thursday, Sound of Hockey reports.
Melanson had been with the Kraken since mid-December, and he recorded a goal, three assists, 66 hits and six blocked shots while averaging 9:25 of ice time over 15 appearances with Seattle. However, he'll head back to the minors since Brandon Montour (hand) was activated from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game in Boston.

Kraken's Adam Larsson: Scores in overtime loss
Larsson scored a goal on three shots, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Devils.
Larsson has two goals over his last four games after going 15 contests without scoring. The 33-year-old defenseman had two assists in that span, but the bulk of his work comes from his physical and defensive play. He's up to 11 points, 50 shots on net, 100 blocks, 64 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 45 outings on the Kraken's top pairing.

Kraken's Brandon Montour: Game-time decision Thursday
Montour (hand) will be a game-time call in Boston on Thursday, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports.
Montour was injured Dec. 16 against the Avalanche and has missed the last 14 contests. Montour had six goals, 10 assists, 34 hits and 35 blocked shots over 27 games before he suffered the hand injury. He will need to be activated off injured reserve once he's cleared to return to the lineup.

Kraken's Vince Dunn: Two helpers against New Jersey
Dunn picked up two assists, including one on the power play, in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Devils.
It's the third multi-point performance in the last five games for Dunn. The 29-year-old blueliner had a quiet start to the season, but over his last 17 appearances, he has delivered two goals and 13 points, with most of that production (one goal and nine assists) coming on the power play. His 15 power-play points on the season are already just one shy of the career high he set in 2023-24.

Kraken's Jared McCann: Two-point effort in OT loss
McCann scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Devils.
The veteran winger's tally early in the second period tied the game at 2-2, but the Kraken offense went cold the rest of the way. McCann has been locked in since returning from a lower-body injury in late December, and over the last 10 games he's produced five goals and 10 points.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Falls to Devils in OT
Grubauer made 23 saves in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to New Jersey.
He nearly bailed the Kraken out after an ill-advised change in overtime sprung Nico Hischier for a breakaway, but Hischier's shot just slid under Grubauer's arm. The veteran netminder has gone seven straight starts without taking a regulation loss, posting a 5-0-2 record during that hot streak with a stellar 1.69 GAA and .946 save percentage as he pushes to take over the No. 1 spot in the Seattle crease.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Getting consecutive starts
Grubauer will start Wednesday's road game versus the Devils, James Nichols of New Jersey Hockey Now reports.
The Kraken will start a goalie in consecutive games for the first time since Dec. 18-20. Grubauer has won five of his last six outings while allowing just nine goals in that span, so it appears this is a case of riding the hot hand. The Devils have scored just 14 goals over their last six games, going 2-4-0 in that span.

Kraken's Jani Nyman: Hot start in AHL
Nyman scored twice in AHL Coachella Valley's 5-2 win over Texas on Tuesday.
Nyman has picked up three goals and added an assist over six contests since returning to the AHL. The winger spent most of the first half of the season with the Kraken, earning six points in 24 appearances, including three over nine outings in December. He'll likely be near the top of the list for a call-up if the Kraken have bad injury luck later in the season.

Kraken's Oscar Fisker Molgaard: Demoted to minors
Fisker Molgaard was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Tuesday.
Fisker Molgaard served as a healthy scratch for the Kraken's last three games, so his demotion to the minors shouldn't come as a surprise. While the Dane could be brought back up at some point during the season, he is unlikely to log enough ice time to be more than a low-end fantasy option.

Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Rejoins active roster
Stephenson (personal) was activated off the non-roster list Tuesday.
Stephenson's return to the active roster should clear the way for him to suit up in Wednesday's clash with the Devils. In his last 17 outings, the center has tallied at least a point in 13 of those contests, racking up a combined seven goals and eight assists, including six power-play points.

Kraken's Jared McCann: Eight points in last nine games
McCann netted a goal in a 4-2 win over the Rangers on Monday.
McCann has eight points (four goals, four assists) and 23 shots in his last nine games. He has nine goals, seven assists and 50 shots in 20 games this season. That's a mid-60s pace, which makes him incredibly consistent for his managers. In his last three seasons, McCann put up 70, 62 and 61 points and averaged 30 goals each season, and he's on that same pace in 2025-26.

Kraken's Eeli Tolvanen: On career pace
Tolvanen scored a goal Monday in a 4-2 win over the Rangers.
Tolvanen got the Kraken's first goal one minute into the second period on a backhand-to-forehand shot. It was his first goal in seven games. Tolvanen has quietly put up 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) in 43 games this season, and nine of those points (three goals, nine assists) have come with the man advantage. His pace gives him a real shot at a 50-point season and that would be a new career mark.

Kraken's Jordan Eberle: Nine points in last nine games
Eberle picked up a goal Monday in a 4-2 win over the Rangers.
The veteran has a goal in each of his last two games and points in eight of his last nine (six goals, three assists; 19 shots). Eberle is on pace for his first 50-plus point season since 2022-23 and his first 30-goal season since 2011-12. His 16 goals (42 games) put him on top of the Kraken goal list.

Kraken's Berkly Catton: Fourth goal in last four games
Catton scored the game-winning goal Monday in a 4-2 win over the Rangers.
Catton jammed a rebound past Jonathan Quick with 7:58 left in regulation. It was his fourth goal of the season, and fourth goal in his last four games (nine shots). The 19-year-old winger has struggled to find his touch this season -- he had gone nine games prior without a point, and he had just five helpers in 27 games to start the season. But this burst shows off his touch and has clearly given him a confidence boost.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Unbeaten in regulation in last six
Grubauer made 20 saves on 22 shots in a 4-2 win over the Rangers on Monday.
Grubauer is undefeated in regulation since Dec. 22, a span of six games (5-0-1). He has allowed just nine goals in that period, and he's rolling with a tidy 9-3-2 record, 2.25 GAA and .924 save percentage. Grubauer is a solid fantasy play who continues to alternate starts with Joey Daccord. His next outing is likely Thursday in Boston.
