Detroit has fallen off a bit in the Atlantic Division but remains just two points out of a wild card spot with the regular season winding down. Another high-stakes showdown pits Metropolitan Division foes against each other with the Carolina Hurricanes taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets. Columbus has the final wild card spot in the conference at the moment but has lost its last three games, while Carolina is set to lock up the division title after finishing second in each of the last two seasons.
