Who will win Rookie of the Year?
The 2026 NBA Draft was lauded as one of the deepest in recent memory and the consensus top-four picks are all being touted as future NBA all-stars. The Wizards selected BYU forward AJ Dybantsa with the No. 1 overall pick and he'll join an intriguing Wizards roster that includes veterans Trae Young and Anthony Davis as well as up-and-coming talents like A.J. Sarr, Tre Johnson and Bilal Coulibaly.
Kansas guard Darryn Peterson, Duke forward Cameron Boozer and North Carolina forward Caleb Wilson were the next three picks and they were selected by the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls, respectively. All four players are expected to play significant roles for their teams during the 2026-27 season and the latest NBA futures from DraftKings cluster them tightly as NBA Rookie of the Year candidates.
Boozer could be the top scoring option for Memphis in his rookie season and he's the +300 favorite to win the award. Meanwhile, Peterson joins a roster with more established scorers like Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen on the roster, but is priced at +340 as arguably the best shotmaker in the group. Wilson is third on the odds board at +360 after a dominant showing in the NBA Summer League and Dybantsa is priced at +425. Claim the NBA League Pass offer and $200 in bonus bets at DraftKings here:
