Ollie Engen scores 25 as Albany tops Rhode Island College 74-67
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Ollie Engen’s 25 points helped Albany (NY) defeat Rhode Island College Anchormen 74-67 on Monday as the Great Danes opened their season.
Engen added five rebounds and six assists for the Great Danes. Tyler Jones scored 16 points and added three steals. Erwann Bussing had 10 points and went 3 for 9 from the field, including 2 for 7 from 3-point range.
Troy Santos led the Anchormen with 30 points and three steals. Xavier Mendez added 12 points for Rhode Island College. Noe Bom finished with nine points.
