KENT, Ohio (AP) Jimmy Hall scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Kent State over Grambling 86-57 on Friday night.

The double-double was the third of the season for Hall and the 10th in the senior's career. Jaylin Walker added 12 points and eight rebounds and Mitch Peterson 12 points and five boards.

The Golden Flashes (5-3) used their size advantage to outrebound the Tigers 55-35 and block seven shots. They shot 52.3 percent and were 10 of 24 from 3-point range for 41.7 percent with six different players connecting from the arc.

Remond Brown led the Tigers (3-6) with 14 points. Nigel Ribeiro added 10 points and Averyl Ugba 10 rebounds with eight points.

Kent State took a 42-22 halftime lead with Hall and Walker scoring eight points each. The Golden Flashes' lead remained in the 20s in the second half, reaching 30 late.
