RENO, Nev. (AP) Jordan Caroline scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help Nevada beat UC Irvine 76-69 on Wednesday night for its fourth straight victory.
Cameron Oliver had 18 points, 15 in the first half, and nine rebounds, and Marcus Marshall added 17 points for the Wolf Pack (9-2), now 5-0 at home.
Eyassu Worku scored 19 points to lead the Anteaters (5-7). Tommy Rutherford grabbed 14 rebounds.
Nevada, which led the entire second half, went up 73-61 with two minutes remaining after a Marshall 3-pointer. Irvine's John Edgar hit a 3-pointer and Worku a 3 and a bucket to get within four with 39 seconds left.
Nevada's Lindsey Drew made a free throw then UC Irvine missed three straight 3-pointers before Fenner snagged a rebound and made the first of two free throws to lead 75-69 with Oliver grabbing the offensive rebound.
Nevada is off to its best start since 2006-07 when it started 17-1.
