CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Garrison Mathews made five 3-pointers and had 28 points on Tuesday night and Lipscomb made a season-high 18 3-pointers to beat Austin Peay 99-85.

The Bisons (6-9) had the lead most of the way and responded with their biggest run after they briefly allowed the Governors (4-8) to take the lead with 12:36 to go. Lipscomb went on a 24-6 run from there and led 90-73 on Aaron Korn's 3-pointer with 5:42 left.

Nathan Moran added 18 points and Kenny Cooper scored 10 for Lipscomb, which shot 18 of 29 from 3-point range (62 percent) and 36 of 60 overall (60 percent).

Austin Peay outscored Lipscomb 26-10 over a six-minute stretch early in the second half to get its only lead after the break at 67-66.

Josh Robinson had 22 points and Jared Savage had 17 to lead the Governors. Chris Porter-Bunton added 14 points, John Murry scored 12 and Kenny Jones 11.
