Delaware secures 78-67 victory over Delaware State
DOVER, Del. (AP) Jyare Davis had 20 points in Delaware's 78-67 win over Delaware State on Wednesday night.
Davis also added six rebounds for the Fightin' Blue Hens (4-0). Gerald Drumgoole Jr. scored 16 points, going 6 of 12 (4 for 6 from 3-point range). Christian Ray shot 6 of 10 from the field and 3 for 5 from the line to finish with 15 points, while adding nine rebounds.
The Hornets (0-3) were led in scoring by Jevin Muniz, who finished with 23 points and three steals. Deywilk Tavarez added 12 points and two steals for Delaware State. Wesley Oba also had 10 points and six rebounds.
